But we would be on opposite sides when it comes to Kindles. I love holding and smelling the books. Reading was all I was able to do and for the most part all I can still do. I used to work with 19th century manuscripts and I adore the smell of old books. While in MA, I’ll visit used/rare bookstores in western MA and the Cape. I buy mostly Kindle editions now for convenience. I’ve had too much experience lately emptying out homes, my own and relatives’, and I’m determined to temper my acquisitional urges.
