yeah maybe that is my problem, my binder clips aren't used. I am an IT geek. My paperwork is electronic. Hell building little sculptures and wearing them seem to be the only usage for paperclips I have.

Wife works in health insurance. Two others may be teachers, another may be employed by the state of NY.

My office can keep clips of all sorts for a long time, but we go through pens, pencils, legal pads, and copier paper like they were water.

my company goes through the snack and candy dishes pretty quickly....I contribute to the disappearance of those

Even the most disgusting food moves. A colleague of mine put out like ten individually wrapped rice cakes, unflavored. They were gone in an hour.

Well my location is primarily men for 2 reasons. The largest department includes heavy physical labor, constant climbing, constant lifting and carrying of 70lbs, and frequent digging. So that is almost all men in there 20s. The next would be engineers (several different types) and that is where the geeky guys come in.

And yes, young strong men can eat.

Sounds like a fun experiment. Put out some dry rice cakes, then measure their movement.

It’s a way to pass the time at work, Justa. Not that you need help with that, of course. ;)

The women ate the cookies that the company received from a new bakery today. The young men didn't even know about them :D

Haha. Don't blame them one bit. Well what kind of cookies. Were they the Italian bakery? And like baci di dama or anginetti or pizzelles? Yes it matters.

Italian bakery!
Lot of anginetti, I saw a few baci before the women attacked! There there was many little sugar cookies, they allowed me to have two.

There were 3 lbs of them. Not many. Just enough for a tasting.

Two of the women are Italian, so they allowed those who've not had them and anginetti before have first picks.

I was given 5 total cookies and told to "live with it." Actually, that was two more than I should have had: the diabetes is a bitch! LOL

I'll pass on the pizzelles. My mom used to make the ones flavored w/ anise, yuck. The other baci di dama & agninetti are wonderful.

as far as leaving food out at the office, I work in technology and you could leave cardboard with cake frosting on it in the break room and the engineers will hoover it all up in no time
