I'm pro-cunt from a sex-positive standpoint. When it is used between adults during consensual sexy time... cunt it up.

When it is used as a slur... it's really terrible. To me, it's akin to the "n word" as far as the hatred and venom associated with it when used as a slur.

Is there a word that white males are called that causes such a visceral reaction? I'm not asking to stir up an issue - I just honestly cannot think of one.

Cunt. Some of us love saying it, some of us love hearing it. But then some can't utter it and other's still abhor being called one. Sometimes it's the context that makes all the difference but that's true with any word, really.

So, without regard to context, knowing that it may be used in any or all forms, are you pro cunt and anti cunt?

I love this word. I haven't always loved it and truthfully, it takes someone who knows how to use it, but weighing the negatives and positives I say yeah.
At work our new favourite phrase is honey cunt...

Think of it as the scales of cunt: put all the good uses on one side then all the derogatory uses on the other. Does it's use for good outweigh its use for bad?

I think the intention behind it makes all the difference. I talked an Australian guy who didn't like the word pussy and asked could we use cunt instead. I always appreciate the thought of making sure certain words are ok before using them.
That being said, when used correctly, consentually, and sexually... I like very much. 😊

You rang? :)

It's just not that black and white unfortunately. As a young girl I had a family member that dropped it negatively towards my mother at every opportunity. I cringed every time I heard it.
As an adult...the first time a man had me whimpering and used that word...I was done in in such a good way.

I think words are words, they can hurt if you want them to, or not--it's entirely your choice, not the person uttering them.

Now, of course, (as said) context is everything and I don't like, or use, the word myself.

But, on the other hand, there may be a time when I wish to let an incredible, sexy woman know that I just want to press my lips against her tight little cunt and lick her into oblivion.

And I like knowing that I have that option. ;)

In a situation where trust has been established, it’s a word in very fond of. I just don’t use it all willy nilly.

It wasn't a word that I heard used before coming to Lit, and since I've been here, it's only been used about me in a positive way - either in a sexy situation, or as a term of endearment. (Those crazy Brits )

If someone tried to insult me by calling me a cunt, I'd probably laugh and say, 'Nice try, what else ya got?'
I realize that for others it's vulgar and horribly insulting, but for me it isn't.

So my earliest experience with this word was my mom shouting it whenever she stubbed her toe. Or when she was cooking and burned herself. It was her go-to.

You'd hear sizzling sounds and smell deliciousness and then hear a thump and then, "Cunt!"

This word is truly fine and in some parts of my home town it is used as a term of endearment, just because we are funny cunts like that. I've heard feminists argue for its use as the true anatomical term as Vagina means just a sheath/scabbard.
This word can be used well when you've stubbed your toe. Directing pure venom at the offending object but, for pain relief, the word "bollocks" is infinitely better...
Try it next time...

From a linguistic perspective, a one-syllable word ending in T is more satisfying to say than a two-syllable word that doesn't end in T. Cunt is a perfect example, my go-to is shit.

However, K provides a nice ending as well. Fek, or prick, for instance. Or fekking prick, if you're really pissed. :)

You had me at "from a linguistic perspective..." 😍

I hang around some awfully clever pervs. Now and then a little something is bound to rub off. ;)

You had me at "rub off"... 😍 :D

Oh, and I like 'cunt' in a sexual context. "Give me your cunt", "Your cunt is so wet", "Your cunt is mine", that sort of thing. Outside of that, not so much, it often seems like it's used in a lazy attempt to shock. In the bedroom, though, oh yes.

Is cunt good or bad?

I have a male friend who explained very well the reasons he chooses the word cunt over vagina and pussy in a sexual way. They really made good sense. I already wasn't easily offended by the word so it just reinforced that. I think it can be a lovely term if two people who care about each other decide to use it.

Yep...

Lovers can do that; no offense at all.

Yup, Honey...

Nor should it be.

Well Treks....

Not for an old soldier. We know slurs and insults; as opposed to affection. A stranger absolutely cannot offend me; I dont know him. I never offend anyone on purpose.

A little quickie to get things going. Would you rather have a planned really good thing to look forward to, or have a great surprise just come out of nowhere?

Is it an expectants game vs the unknown?
