I just did the father/future son-in law (18, got to keep things legal) talk, but the way he explained it consciously was he did it to have the video. His fantasy is being married to a Pornstar. Story sounds good and also long, going to need chapters. It reminds me of Jodi West because her husband films her. They co founded forbidden films which is all taboo porn.

Yeah, I don't have a fetish. I'm asexual, and I do fetish, but my fantasy is to have a normal sex life. This thread is really helping me with the story, I have the draft up on another site, but it's probably going to be a series.

Well, we'll see. I see it more as exhibition/voyeurism than Group Sex, because it's just 2 couple watching porn. So, it's an Erotic Story involving porn. I consider it an Erotic Literature site, because it says that right on the tin. Not even group sex porn, if you count the cameraman jacking off as group sex. IDFK, let management make that call, but even that's on the TV/VCR, and pre-recorded. Literally, the only thing the other man is doing is watching. As I've posted before (but not recently) I take 3 basic approaches to fiction.

* Know the story before starting. It's a journal or (auto)biography or script or something other with known start and end. Just flesh-out the interior.

* Extrapolate from a framework -- create a setting, players, and maybe a few plot points. Set the players loose to surprise you. Transcribe their acts.

* View an image as a story's ending, rather like the Thurber cartoon above. Drvise the setting, players, and drama needed to reach that final image.

To me, 'inspirational' images are the end of the story, not the start. Or start with that image but circle back to end with it. Say, you start and end hiding under a car while the enraged mob chasing you sweeps past. Lying there, you flashback to WHY? And maybe end with someone yelling, "She's here!"

See a picture of someone in a situation. Tell us how they got there.

Okay these are the basics of a Writer's bible, and there's probably a lot more, but basically how you organize your thoughts.

I don't have an ending in mind. I have character, who have goals. In this case, the main character wants to be a porn star, but can't do it alone, and gets her family (Extended as she gets married, and eventually has kids... But these become an obstacle later as she has to keep them from being exposed to her lifestyle throughout their childhood. A possible future conflict.)

However, people, real people in real life don't have an End. You have to stop writing at some point, but if you have that already decided, AND forshadow too much, you give that away to the reader. Also, you don't have to write linearly. i have to edit mine linearly, because I multitask, and the narrative is linear, but you can always go back. Right to the climax, the twist, then go back over your work to put in, and take out forshadowing. So the result is established, without being telegraphed. I'm pretty sure that's how Shamalan does it.

To me, it doesn't even have to be in the story, for the reader. it's meta, something I ran into IRL that got me thinking, and eventually led to the characters. the situation, and I extrapolate from there. but then, I'm different, and I'm not trying to write a novel here.
