That's why, once he was no longer President, the economy took off. It's called human action. People make financial decisions and invest based upon the government and policies they live under. Obama's policies were not friendly to business, so business hunkered down, took Capital off the table and decided to wait him out. Furthermore, Obama wasted Capital that we did not have into his pet projects, but an understanding of economics tells you that a business created artificially by a glut of money soon collapses once the money is used up. That happened too.

The problem you have is that you had these ideas about Obama so comfortably compartmentalized that unwittingly you had to spit out the truth of the matter in order to defend the myth.

You might want to look to his attitudes towards business and why they were reticent under his administration to do anything that hunker down and wait in place until he was gone and a more favorable business climate emerged.
