O CG we captured a group of rookies and had to hold them hostage. We laid clues so the other rookies could find us and release the hostages.

I can’t go into details but we had to make life easy for them. Then we had to WRITE REPORTS!

So what is new in your world?

Oh many interesting things CG,

I've been on a bit of an emotional roller coaster since Christmas but these last two weeks have seen some very wonderful and exciting developments in my life and I'm kinda riding on cloud nine at the moment. Nothing seems to be able to get me down for long even though the small things that normally would get me down keep happening. I feel like I'm wearing armor .

And in your world? I hope whatever is keeping you so busy atm is good stuff and not bad stuff?

I can’t stop, I’m on my way to visit the Lionesses then on to see some of the Winter Olympics (CG, Raven & Ugg know what I mean).

But I just wanted to publicly thank you CG for all the support you have given down the years for me, my wider family and the boys and girls of NRR. I also want to thank you for allowing us to use the Inn for our purposes. You will always be close to my heart, you supported me when I was doing what Officer Cadets RobynTashYa & BritSal are doing now. You’ve been missed here CG, I know you’re busy but never forget you have a home in the heart of every member and visitor to the Inn past, present and future.

That was a good Olympic Opening Ceremony. Peace was the main message, but also about Korean life and how the world and humans are connected. Lots of computer generated images with real people. They recreated the rings using drones which was interesting. They had some Korean singers sing Lennon's "Imagine" which was touching given the past year. I think they did a good job. Now it is up to the athletes. Good luck to all the athletes from all the countries. Citius, Altius, Fortius

The skies are leaden as I make my way down from my loft. A couple of logs for the fire on the hearth to chase the early morning chill from the Inn. Pot a pot of coffee and one of tea on the brew then grab my snow shovel to clear a path to the Inn.

Hi CG, great to see you. We had an unplanned visit from the Cohort Commander (You know her as WPUK) she was en route to the Lions / Lionesses before joining up with the Americans to watch the Winter Olympics (you know what I mean).

She summoned everyone from our year to see her in the principle’s office. When she got to Sal and me she said she’d heard we were wearing American boots and not the British Army regular footwear. Sal and I looked at each other thinking we were in trouble but WPUK smiled, lifted her leg up and showed us she was wearing them too lol. She’s so encouraging she spoke to Sal and told her she expected her to be Lioness and urged her to work for her badges.

CG there is something about WPUK, she’s friendly, efficient, caring and kind. But I get the feeling she can be as hard as nails if she has to be. She expects total, absolute obedience. I’d hate to be on the wrong side of her.

Robyn I would say your gut feelings are quite correct. WPUK is one of the best and I both respect and have a soft spot in my heart for her.

Though I must admit that my heart is getting a bit crowded. After all it has to keep you, Sal, Rose, and G G and HSG securely there as well as WPUK.

Yes I do believe that Shiva was mentioning something about spankings. So are you volunteering for one?

I believe it is better to give than receive.
