I've just sourced a great supplier of good hardwood for the fire here and in the other house. There's nothing like the smell of wild cherry and oak burning on an open fire.

Even better to have my own trees, of course. But we don't have that kind of access to wide open space over here.

Mmmmmmhmmmm....winter is my favorite season because fire, hot coffee and like 2 months of nothing but good food, reading, guitar, civ5 and tree hunting (bonsai).

That's unfortunate, on the upside the countryside that you guys do have is cherry.

I have my doubts as to just how good it's going to be. I'll have a back up plan.

I love doing that with the girls. We always play hooky when they have a schedule drs or ortho appointment. I have homework to do with the little one for German class this weekend. We have to go to a cafe, eat cake and visit.
