Swans are the real danger team. So good just now. Dons got a bad draw against them. Was never going to be easy.
Eagles was an epic win against the odds.

As a fan I'm biased but it was a pulsating game. So tense all the way.

Can't wait as it will be as close to a Pink Floyd concert you will get. Yes he is doing some of his solo stuff but there is a lot of Pink Floyd. Saw them I think in 86 and is still the best concert I ever saw.

One night only 13th September world wide and is a re creation of their Live in Pompeii with a limited audience should be amazing.

FWIW, felt much the same about the Swans losing the Grand Final last year.
You do want your team to at least show up and put up some sense of wanting to win!

I am a diehard motorsport fan - V8's mostly, but I also follow F1, Goodwood, Dakar, Targa, etc.
I am a driver follower, not a Holden or Ford (but having said that, I have a classic Ford that is being slowly restored, as well as a couple that are finished!)
Also used to drive speedway in my younger years.

Sadly, I might not make it to Bathurst this year....

4 B's day is getting close.... Do a party every year for Beer, Bathurst, BBQ and Bullshit. Starts at 9am and unless your driving entrance fee is to skol a tequila with lemon and salt then breakfast, lunch and dinner and with all the alcohol the BS flows freely

It has been bloody freezing with snow down as low as 100m! Today we had a hailstorm in the sunshine! Many roads and schools are closed because of heavy snowfalls. I don't mind the cold.... I just layer up and drink brandy
Another below zero night coming up - my hot water bottle is getting a workout this year!

Yep I like to just go for a drive as well sometimes with no real plan except the destination. Love to drive around the coast or the mountains. Those long flat stretches do nothing for me.

You guys in Tassie have really been getting the worst of the cold. We've been getting lots of rain for the past couple of weeks, now its just windy again. Waiting for someone to turn off the wind machine.

So I'm guessing the body is feeling better and you're getting stronger. Soon you'll be able to bend over and tie your shoe laces. Happy to spot you I mean safety first right.

Well it's windy windy and just windy here is Melbourne town today. Good day for drying clothes unless they fly off and become a kite. Not a good day to be washing the car too much crap flying around.

Got that survey thing last week and posted it as soon as possible. Another couple of weeks of putting up with these bible thumpers spreading misinformation. I'm a Christian and they certainly don't speak for me. Still I think the vote will be close mainly cause of fear. Very much a battle between the have and have nots. Kinda like the whole refugee debate. "If they get what we have then we will have less". It's rather rich for the ACL to talk about the fear of persecution when they have been dealing out a fair bit of it in the recent past.

So we're out of the Davis Cup. Seems we just don't got it when it comes to men's tennis.

As for the AFL well like others have posted I reckon it will be a Crows vs Tigers GF. Don't think either Geelong or GWS have got enough strength to get thru. Besides the Cats also have a gastro outbreak to deal with.

Some talk about moving the public holiday from the Friday to the Monday after the GF. That kinda makes sense considering most will take that day off anyway to have a long long weekend plus sobering up.

By the time I can tie shoelaces from a standing position, I'm hoping I can do pretty much e v e r y t h i n g again!

Today has been rain. Persistant, medium-ish rain. Definitely spring!
