And what have you done to fix it? Did you write your Congressional rep? Were you writing your senator to support the Veterans' Access to Care through Choice, Accountability, and Transparency Act of 2014? Did you use the Whitehouse's online petition system to ask for even more funding/staffing of VA hospitals?

I'm guessing you did none of those things and just bitched about stuff on the internet.

Between CA and the IRS I paid almost 8x that salary in taxes for 2016, so it's more of a tax break than a salary most of which has gone to help other vets who can't hustle. I did live on it for a bit right after I got out and through the first two years or so of school...so I can't say all and I appreciate that, it made my amazing life happen at least a few years sooner than it would have had I not had it.

So thanks from both me and the 4 guys I keep off the streets with it, I hope one day if you need it the VA or another vet like myself will be there to help you.

Yes I did quite a lot, because I had to fight tooth and nail for my father's burial benefits (as well as medical benefits when he was in a coma). He did two tours in Vietnam yet was treated like shit by the VA.
