Hehe... he's no boyfriend of mine mister. We just drink and dance together once a week. :D
Not you silly. I txt that to him, as in saying I am his boyfriend.

Oh. Guess I was having a blonde moment, so sorry sweetie.

Was he happy to hear from his boyfriend?

Hello all of my soon-to-be Aussie friends. I hope your night is treating you fantastic.

KMF, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutily wonderful news!!!!! Fantastic!!!!! So happy for you :rose:x24

LB, thanks for the thoughts and well wishes. I too hope that the kids will be far far from me, however I have a laptop myself with built in DVD player and good headphones. So unless the little buggers litterally climb over me I should be alright.

Oralnth, Laptops kick total ass. What are the specs on it? I'm a geek and have to know these things :p

Gil, You and Bandit will have to show me sometime a good spot to get some fish and chips. I'll have to see how they stack up aginst the frest fish we get here from the atlantic, and F&C is one of Halifax's specialties, so you'll have a touch act to follow ;)

So either rain or shine, and highs of 20c? I definatly think I can handle that, seeing how we're late spring here and we're struggling to get over 10c some days :p

You guys have some really cool looking and feeling money. It's nothing like ours. Ours is paper, while yours seems to be more plastic. I got a few 20s for when I arrive so I will at least have something to use before I get all my funds :)

See you all later, and I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend :)

Tap :D

Your lovely LB is fine thank you, and you're still a smart arse. Cute, but a smart arse!

Tap, just a few more sleeps my friend. I can almost feel your excitement.

Take care... you'll soon be here with us.

Actuially just one more sleep (geeze that's how we used to measure out the days until x-mas when I was younger and we still do that with the kids of the family today). I leave here 12:30pm Sunday, May 16 (tomorrow), and will arrive Tuesday. I will spend a good chunk of change on the planes, stopovers, etc, but what's going to make the difference is the time zones and crossing the Internationl Date Line, so while I will only be in travel for about 20hours or so, timezones will take me right into tuesday morning when I touch down in Oz :)

Hi Tap
you may find they dont allow you to use your lap top on the plane as it tends to shut down there systems. this makes the pilot nervous

and your right our paper money is now plastic has about 4 times the life span

Can't wait to call you... "Aussie".

I'll be offline for about a week after you arrive, but you'll be in my thoughts. I hope it all goes smoothly for you.

Those are exactially the specs I have on my laptop (although I think i have a 17" LCD), save for the software. I'm dual booting between XP Pro, and Mandrake 9 Linux. MS Office / K Office, and some networking apps :D

Very very nice system. Mobile and powerful :D

I actuially asked about that, and I can't use it durring take off and landing, however once we're up in the air and we're free to roam about I can use it then no problems :)

I can't wait to see the rest of your bills, and coins and everything else. Going to be awsome :)
