The graphics guys always liked them, back in the WIN 3.1 daze.

The number of processes running at once with that shit makes me a Believer, just too ancient to try the "left hand thread" option.
It was my graphic design buddy (and also guitar player) who got me going on the Mac. I think my first G4 was OS8. It actually still fires.

First comp I saw was an old Royal Banking computer that did simple math +,-,/,X. Dada brought it home. Weighed a shit load. He wanted the table it sat on to make a table saw from. Had a reel to reel and flashing lights like in old movies. That was like 73 or 74.

Real live amplified sound? ;) :D

Indeed. I've got 6 tube amps at the studio, as well as 4 tube compressors and one tube microphone preamp that I'm thinking about putting back into use, with some NOS tubes. Oh, and 2 tube microphones.

Learning 'If inkey$=inkey$ Then' meant games I wrote just had to hold down key to get smooth movement instead of repeatedly hitting key.

I saw a tribute band Sunday - Seventies and Eighties stuff. The lead player started the show with a vintage Telly, and finished up with a Strat. Both were that Fender blue. Both sounded awesome!

Old tech still has its uses!!!

cat fight brought all the dogs out barking. good lord.

Cat fight brought all the dogs to the yard and they're like it's better than yours....

Nope, that is not how that song goes.

Mission Impossible. Played that but was horrible at it. They done good on the voice considering the hardware they had.

Yep, had a 64 when I was 8 or so and about 60 bootleg disks, each filled with games. I rocked M.I.

I also think the red headed governors daughter on Pirates was my first crush....

Yup! To me, that IS the colour of a Stratocaster. Period.

Now, the Telly was a bit darker. Kinda like a 61-66 Chev Biscayne. Maybe metallic?

Strats look good in many colors, but Lake Placid Blue is special for sure.

Tele's its Butterscotch Blonde. I need one of those. My Flower Tele reissue does sound great though.

Lake Placid. The man that taught me my first 3 chords has a tele in Lake Placid.... I can still remember the smell of that paint when he first cracked open that guitar case.
