Have you heard anything yet from Emmy? I PM'd her earlier in the week but no answer. I hope she is OK

I did just now. She finally sent me a message. I was getting a little worried cause she's the one person I can spam with my picture, who never misses a chance to respond right away or quickly.
She said that she will be on Chemo pills for the next 5 years and once a month, they increase the dose. This time when they increased the dose, she was in so much pain (mostly bone pain) that she just slept.
She said she was sorry for all the worry, but she just tried to sleep as much as possible.
I wish so much I could take away her pain. It breaks my heart when she is in that much pain. especially since I know she does not like to take pain pills.

thanks for letting us all know Sassy. I remembered thee last post she made was about bathing to try and take away some of the pain from the Chemo pills. I am so sorry she has to go through it every month and for 5 years She is such a fighter too and hates to have to slow down. I hope the effects wear off soon and she can enjoy the holidays.

I know what she's going through and not from personal experience. But I do have a friend who is going through her second bout of cancer in her life. She goes through chemo crashes achy bones itching and rashes that leave skin red, followed by exhaustion.

Not good news indeed, I have been away and hearing this on my return is so upsetting... Especially tough at this time of the year... My thoughts and prayers are with the wonderful lady...
