I had a scented candle burning on the breakfast table. Okay, maybe I should have known better, because, cat. She jumps up on the table, snags a claw in the tablecloth, panics, and jumps for the window. This brings the tablecloth and candle skittering off the table and into the wall, window, and curtains. Tablecloth and curtains cover in wax as is the wall, baseboard, and carpet. And THIS is why we can't have nice things.

It looks like a bit of wet in the forecast for today. It's supposed to warm up with the rain also. I got chilled yesterday and never did warm back up until last night. It doesn't feel all that warm today, either, at least not yet.


Coffee is on. I have to buy some more. The grocery store at work has what I drink on sale cheap this week, so I'll go there.


We either have cats or we have household furnishings. I talked a woman into keeping her cat and sacrificing her sofa last summer. It was easy. Kitteh!!!
