4 est gump has a degree in mathematics.

It predates Query/Que/Conager.

You two should really get over it an bury the hatchet. Maybe Pookie can help you...

Honestly. I'm willing to burry the hatchet as in not mention Que's name or have a jab at him ever (because the animosity on either side won't go away easily) and I told him that several times.

But for some strange reason, he appears to be keen on keeping that flame alive, so to speak.
We go through periods of politely ignoring each other and staying out of each other's way, then he starts to either 'casually' drop my name in unrelated conversations, with all sorts of stupid inuendoes, or to directly address or attack me.

I'm ready to start the 'burrying of the hatchet' and politely ignoring each other (the way we did for so many moths) all over again, if Que is open to the idea too.

All I know is that I was already working ad hoc in the field of computers when I went back to college thanks to the challenge of a mentor. When the PC hit the market and professionals wanted to use its power for billing and records, they didn't ask what your degree was in when they hired you, they only asked if you could do what they needed (usually so their wife could stop being the business book-keeper). I was in a club of martial enthusiasts and technological (and educational) geeks as well as being the son of an IBM computer technician back when a computer needed a whole floor for cooling, backup power and lots of room for magnetic tapes, paper tape and punchcards.

I naturally went into Computer Science but really struggled with the math (former sociology major, many years before hand as a young teen) so I doubled up on the math. Since math is the language of Science, once I started getting the hang of it, i.e., when I discovered matrix math, modeling, graphic and chaos theory, my hunger for knowledge drove me to a double major.

This is why I laugh at the attempts of economists (and climate change true believers) to use math to bolster their false assumptions; their models rely heavily upon static economics (the Historical School) and the use of the DiffyQ.

Just set all inputs to zero and examine only the ones that you think drive the soft science of economics. We're all fucking Hari Seldon now...

I can't advise you.

I like both of you.

I can talk to both of you, but as the old analogy goes...

I can take the horse(s) to the stream but I can't make you drink [ing buddies...] ;) ;)

As someone whose extended family has a strong background in math sciences (some of whom decided to go into computers instead), I often recognise the similar mentality, and some of the things and quirky catch phrases that you all often keep using.

What really sets these idiots off is that I have two advanced degrees in martial arts...

;) ;)

The lazy motherfuckers have taken the easiest road all of their lives and do not understand a life of accomplishment.

As I told you before in the other thread, all this hate boils down to one thing; the subjectivism of envy. I'm smarter than you,so if you claim to have accomplished more than me in your life, then you are a liar! You're too stupid to have done any of that! (If you were truly smart and educated, you would be a leftist...)

I was called an idiot by one of our former leading leftists because 'ordinality' is not a word...

Petey.
Think about it for a second: How can a computer programmer not be expected to have good skills in math too?

Because computer programming is about algorithms too, and algorithms mean math.

I'm flabbergasted that you either don't see how the two can be connected to each other or taught together, or that you see them as being mutually exclussive.
Please stop with that shit because it looks silly and ridiculous lol

Youall who enjoy communicating online and via political or more serious threads are intelligent and educated posters, but you all trained in (formally or as autodidacts) in different areas. So you all have skills in certain areas and lack skills in other areas.

But you all are the same and look like total doofuses from one point of view:

Instead of trying to learn from each other in areas in which you are weak, you try to show how stupid the other person is in the area where You excell in. Which explains the eternal clusterfuck and pissing contests that most political threads eventually turn into.

And I'm not trying to look clever or be self-righteous here.
Ask any other female poster, and I guarantee you that 90% of them will tell you exactly the same thing. Why do you think that so many female posters (who are just as good as you) try to stay away from the GB political threads?

FYI in case you were wondering... #### is NOT trying to be clever.

Are you sure? I recently find myself quite convinced that the persona is completely fake and the person behind it is getting a big laugh out of their behavior on this board.

"Hillary Clinton's campaign is being urged by a number of top computer scientists to call for a recount of vote totals in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, according to a source with knowledge of the request.

The computer scientists believe they have found evidence that vote totals in the three states could have been manipulated or hacked and presented their findings to top Clinton aides on a call last Thursday."

He's one of the basket of deplorables and resents the fact that he is still working on his own degree and jealous of those whom have actually finished their coursework in a timely manner.

He's all of that, a bucket of nachos and a Redbox movie and a used couch in his single-wide...

;) ;)

Counting Chads...

Did you know that not too many years ago a mathematician wrote a paper proving that statistically most academic papers were based upon statistical errors?

Did I say used?

That' so harsh in todays world...

For all of Petey's fellow snowflakes, I meant "pre-owned."

Hey, he said he wasn't trying to look clever. Who am I to question that?

Wait! He's a diabolical genius!

This just in :Kennedy stole the 1963 election. Shall we re-litigate that too?

What happened to all of the Liberals screaming that Trump should accept the outcome of this election no matter how it goes or regardless of any noted voting irregularities?

So some dumb guy online claims he's something he's not. Sort of the norm.

How do You know they aren't who they say they are?

How do We know that you condescending and superior highness are indeed who you claim to be?

I haven't claimed to be anyone or anything. I have certainly never claimed to be superior to anyone unless they were a complete scumbag like that hashtag guy.

If you're not Rob sr (aka RobDownSouth) then you're Rob jr (aka Disgustipated).

Unless you're the Flying Dutchman aka #CadeUndereverybed as seen by Sean
