Donald Trump is much more intelligent than most people give him credit for.
He surrounded himself with many very good politicos and advisors in order to win this election. Granted he does not have much in the way of past political experience himself, he does have an uncanny sense for the business of "winning" and how to accomplish things. He will assuredly hire the correct people to fill the many important roles he will need to assist him as President.
He has most certainly been underestimated by a very large portion of the intellectual and political communities. Given the opportunity he now has in front of him, I believe he will continue to surprise a great many people over the course of the next four years. Not withstanding all of his other failings and transgressions, I believe he will make a for a very good President.
Most people do not appreciate all the hard work, planning and strategy that went into his successful run over the last eighteen months.
I just hope there aren't any assassination attemps made on his life. And that his long-term health and personal business interests do not clash too much with his new responsibilities.
