Honestly. Leaving aside my attempt to rattle GS:
I'm with you in that he's not exactly the most upstanding citizen, and he's a racist and a misogynist too.
But if I'm not mistaken, I feel that it will be good news for Europe, the Middle East and other foreign countries.
Just like his comrade Putin,
kiss he seems to be less of a globalist and a warmonger than Hillary and his predecessors. I haven't been as interested in and excited about american politics as I am right now. I feel that we're witnessing History and a turnabout in the neofeudalistic globalization path we've been engaged in.
Unless all he said was just bullshit and he's just another corporate pawn and brand.
Because I was also happy and excited when Obama got elected, and look how That turned out to be.

My simplistic analysis of the Trump win:
Hilary should have won in a walk, except for:
1. The obvious lies under oath to the FBI about her email server.
2. The lie about being a liar.
3. The failing Obamacare program and the democrats waning support for anything that doesn't replace it with national health.
4. Her anti-gun rants. Even in Blue States, we want crime control, not gun control.
5. Her Husband: meet with the AG to exchange recipes during an investigation. Really?
6. Her Husband. <full stop>
7. Bernie - don't shite on your socialist ally, even if you think the shite won't stick.
8. The Foundation: Hundreds of Millions in, Several thousands out. WTF anyway? And we should ignore pledges from Uranium tycoons, Emirs, Terrorists, and so on? Really?
9. . .
I could go on forever about her baggage. The Lit-o-crat simply won't listen or doesn't care. America did. Deal with it.
Trump is a flawed candidate, a flawed human being, a flawed businessman, and a flawed politician. I expect, at the best, a flawed presidency.

On the bright side for the democrats - Virginia liked Kaine as VP - so maybe Warner/Kaine for 2020 can get some traction. Please don't choose the shitehead governor we have now, McAuliffe, although you probably will.

We were told over and over again how the polling couldn't be possibly wrong like Brexit, because our polling is all sciencey and stuff.
Two weeks before the election you could smell the desperation with the phony, oversampled for Demcrats polls putting her up 8 to 12 points in a country that leans to the right.
Reminds me of all the polls taken where some guy rings up your house... the place where you live and where you keep your gun... and asks, "do you have a gun in the house??" Numpties actually think that people answer those polls candidly.
In a country that is about 35% very vocal Rorys screeching about the consequences of supporting Trump, no one was going to admit to disliking the harridan more.
I doubt his unfavorable ratings were anywhere near what was reported. He was a buffoon but it is absurd that Obama was elected for a second term., and for Hillary to be elected to a third term with the worst recovery in recorded history would have been ridiculously stupid which is why I thought Hillary was going to win. The American electorate is notoriously stupid.
