With a café au lait![]()
Oh, dear. As my late mother used to tell people: I gave up smoking at the age of 13.With a side order of Columbian Gold (if you're ordering at a coffee shop in Amsterdam)

For me, it all depends upon what I'm smoking.
I don't think Woodbines come in fives anymore, HP![]()
No, I've noticed.
Nor Players Weights, Senior Service, or Navy Cut.
Sad, innit?
PS. I had to give up smoking rather forcefully; I got a bad cough.

You what, my dear ?
Did this refer to beignets? Mmmm, beignets at the Cafe du Monde in New Orleans... Actually, ask beachbum1958 for his wife's favorite recipe, or just ask her directly.
The French Quarter
Reminds me of the Canadian one I got over a decade ago in place of the American worth the same amount in change after a purchase at a long-ago-closed bookstore (that would then not accept it back in payment for things... How'd they get it to give it to me?!)
Then again, suppose it was probably at least some percentage French, too.
