'twas nicely wild out there, a bit wet and a little uncomfortable. A strange front came through bringing a dramatic drop in temperatures with the wind clocking to the nor-norwest and piping up. It's unusual to have that change of weather without a violent squall line and thunderstorms. The result was the usual very short, steep seas arising from the combination of opposing wind and tide.
The vessel was slamming into the seas making it not unlike skiing a mogul field when it arced through 7-8 feet of void and smashed into the water.
Thank goodness the water and air are still warm. Nevertheless, I was glad I was wearing my foul weather jacket.

it happens. when my aunt died a couple years ago i really had a hard time caring. felt kinda weird about it for a bit, but then i realized it was because i'd never really even talked to the woman. even as an adult.
also, her husband is easily my least favorite blood relative. he's a fucking robot.
so, basically, fuck them.

No. In my part of the world, teachers work 12 months, for the most part, barring normal vacations with their families. Blaming teachers for shitty school hours is like blaming judges for enforcing laws that don't make sense to you.
