That could be my bed, with Small's name instead of 'His side'. Why his own bed is so unsatisfactory, and why he will only sleep at 90 degrees whilst pummelling me with his feet, are mysteries beyond the reach of science.

Im almost afraid to ask who Small is and how he got that name. :D

I bet you wouldn't trade it for all the world, tho. Right? I know I wouldn't :)

G is cutting ours today I think.

I have got through about thirty feet of not very tall yew hedge in three attempts. I'm shattered. :(. Pathetic. G is going to do the rest of that too, with his 'proper' hedge cutter that's too heavy for me to lift. The whole thing will probably take him only twenty mintues
30' is a goodly amount of cutting without the aid of the heavy duty cutters :rose: rest, relax, enjoy watching the man at work :D

There is nothing godlike about our local swans. You should see them trying to take off. :D
yes, that transitional period between flight and float isn't the prettiest, but in their little heads - behind those beady eyes - they're all little gods who believe, quite firmly, in one-upswanship and will extend that to humans whenever the fancy takes them

i read jeeves and wooster stories as a child alongside the billy bunter ones (inbetween narnia and lotr and the classics such as black beauty and little women). exquisite humour.

oh please

this is how its split up on any bed that sean is in

except that it would diagonal and i would only have a tiny section near the top

Well, you're quite small so don't need a lot of room. That's just science, love.

Small is my Lit name for my son. So named because he is small (compared with me, though seemingly rather tall for his age). :rose: He has another name in real life. :D

I would not trade him even for a black letter Divine Comedy or autograph Iliad. It might be nice if he would sleep through the night, though, just once.

Oh, well of course not. I just assumed it was the name of a cat or dog or something.

The thought of you sharing your space with your small is heartwarming. I think you probably make an amazing father. :rose:

these posts made me smile
it helps that you're only pocket-sized, ltr :D

I am in charge of fire now. :). Just a small one today in the brazier.
fire-goddess

was thinking of doing ours today but the rain yesterday and the night before means it's a bit soggy and will make too much smoke. it can wait. i've other things to concentrate on right now

I've been bidding on new golf clubs on the eBay for three days now and some peckerface keeps slipping in and stealing them away from me.

I stupidly swirled the jar of my homemade coffee creamer and forgot that it has an open spout, so I decorated my chest with a swath of cream and the irony doesn't fail me. I also stirred my coffee with a fork. So yeah. At least I managed to walk to dog without incident although I did almost scratch my face with the hand holding the poop bag.

I need more sleep but alas, here I sit, in my bralette and trying desperately to suck this coffee down so it can do me some good. The dog had stolen my blanket.
