Articles such as the one linked below are popping up all over the media. If the sources were mostly conservative outlets we'd probably be treated to a cacophony of "right wing conspiracy nuts" op-eds in the MSM. Oddly enough the articles are popping up with more frequency in the liberal rags.

"Russian Conspiracy?"

On the backs of Homeland Security proclaiming that the elections are "critical infrastructure" one has to wonder what in the hell is going on? Do the Feds actually want to take over the elections from the states? SCOTUS recently ruled that that is a constitutional no-no, so is national security a back door attempt?

All of this concern is easily avoidable, show up in person, show a valid ID, vote on paper. I doubt that Russia, or anyone else for that matter, can flood the country with enough operatives to make a significant difference.

When you think about it this is the perfect method for a sitting government to declare the results of an election invalid if they don't like the outcome. Set up a bogey man (Russia) and cry FOUL.

Absurd? One would certainly hope so, but considering the antics and out and out lies that this administration has foisted on the public over the past 8 years maybe not so much so.

If you believe your last sentence, you really are a right wing conspiracy nut.

Just sayin', hon.

I believe that the Left would use a tactic like that.

Look at the solid support for their candidate even though they know she cannot discern truth from fiction...

Sigh, you're normally fairly realistic. Have you willfully blinded yourself?

Deceit has been this administrations stock in trade from the gitgo. The assurances made leading up to the passage of "ShuckNJiveCare" alone are a litany of lies. I'm not buying the soft sell of "misstatements."

The same holds true for his assurances to our allies. About the only foreign policy statements he's made that he's (and Hillary) have lived up to are those made to our enemies.

His Executive Orders fly in the face of the Constitution, yet he persists. It's beside the fact that most of them have been overturned by the courts, those reversals take time to take effect and chaos rules in the meantime. We already know the low esteem which he holds for the Constitution to begin with, so none of that is any real surprise.

No my dear, I'm not a conspiracy nut. I merely understand to my core that neither he nor Hillary can be trusted.

China showed him the respect he has earned world-wide...

And the Philippines as well.

What interested me was the treatment the US press got in China. It's about time someone put them in their place. The press's sense of entitlements has grown over the years far out of proportion to their actual position in society. Perhaps it's a trend that will catch on.

This is all a plot by Barbara Broccoli to make Bond movies relevant again.

Making Bond relevant again requires a black lesbian Muslim agent 009 who hunts down the evil radical Republicans in our midst...

At least the Left has now told us who it is okay to hate, Red Russians and Red-State Americans...

Speaking of which, it is not without design that the press assigned 'Red' to the Republicans. Of course that symbology is fading into obscurity now.

Well, they're all blue and yellow (journalism) which every great scientific mind, say, for example, FroDOH!, will tell you when mixed produces the color blellow...

Big surprise...

One of the GB's most infamous wannabe tyrants pimping the Communists in China as suitable hammers upon American freedom of the press.

Perhaps the trend of throwing human pieces of shit like you out with the USSA bathwater will catch on so you'll finally understand your rightful place in society.

I would agree with you except that you claim it is a current adminstration thing. They all suck the life out of what they can get away with. Both sides.

It appears that the whole "Ruskie" thing, and the possibility that more damning emails are forthcoming, has the democrats knickers in a twist.

Pelosi wants censorship

I use the word 'censorship' because that's what it amounts to. I fully understand her desire to not have her parties dirty laundry aired publicly. On the other hand the public does have the right, and need, to know what mechanations are occurring within the political parties. We've already seen how the DNC, an allegedly neutral body (at least with for their own candidates) conspired to shut Sanders out. And yes, the republicans did the same with Trump. The difference being that the republicans dirty laundry was aired as it occurred. The electorate could react in a timely manner re. the republicans.

But this call on Pelosi's part for the republicans to essentially self-censor material that is going to be placed in the public domain is, well, silly. There is no way that I can imagine the democrats doing what they are asking (demanding) the republicans do. And the reason? Those pesky Ruskies.

On top of that I'm still waiting for someone, anyone, to make the case as to why the Russians would prefer Trump over Clinton. It is pretty much established that Clinton will place her own, and her families, financial interests above the interests of the nation. Indicted or not Comey's testimony is damning. so why would the Russian's aid Trump when they have a candidate that they can literally buy access to? I'm still not buying that particular bill of goods.

Yeah, they would like a continuation of an Administration that has passively observed their territorial expansion. The same goes for China, Iran and North Korea.

I highly doubt that they are looking forward to a Trump Administration.

What 'territorial expansion' are you talking about, fucktard?
