i would love to see a complete reform of prisons

if someone commits a crime that results in them being sent to jail, is it so weird to expect that these individuals should be in a place deemed safe, secure (so they cannnot escape), and run like a modern institution should be, with cameras and enough staff and enough cells to cope?

if someone's inside for heinous crimes against other people, they have been removed from society for society's protection. if society then allows crimes of a similar or equally heinous nature to be visited on inmates, how is society able to condemn one yet condone the other?

is it all financial?




actually, i'll start a thread. pretty sure i'll see what i'm expecting to see but can hope anyway.

I used this as a student. Grind up a few Pro-Plus into a pint mug of that and watch the tiredness burn away.

Just get some good dark roast from Starbucks Like Verona or Kimodo Dragon.

I have about seven varieties of bean maybe 20 lbs worth.

I used to get beans from Cafe Brit in Costa Rica but lately have been very happy with Starbucks blends.

Drinking basic House Blend now and it's delish.

I have a friend that roasts his own beans. I may start doing that. Roast 'em, grind 'em and press 'em.

Eh....unless you are really into it. Just order good fresh beans. Like I said starbucks is really good and has a ton of blends they dont offer in store and the bags are a full pound not the 13 oz or whatever.

Leave the roasting to the guys who do it for a living. It's crucial. Or one of the most crucial things to making coffee.

I do love opening a new bag and seeing the oily fresh beans. I stick my nose right in and take a hit.

Yeah. More than that actually. I've ordered as many as 27 I think. I'm a bit obsessed.

They stay in a nice cool dark place and are fresh. Thats a six month supply. Maybe a tad more.

I should probably order less but have never noticed a drop in freshness.
