*tests a theory*

I heard a rumor that Pmann's magnificent cawk isn't exactly how it is depicted in his draw-rhings. I'm not saying that it's a teenie weenie, but I'm just telling you what I heard.

Someone who isn't unable to read yellow told me there is a nasty rumour I need to dispel.

Is this some sort of reverse pic request? "Please, please, ladies PM me and ask me to send you dick pix...?"

I will not be fooled by your reverse psychology voodoo. I'm too smart for that. Especially BC I'm not blonde n all.

My dick is on my pic thread that you girls have all been wanking to for years. Ye know these viscious rumours are trying to taint my image!

Dude, you said "taint", you know it takes less than that to get them back on fisting.

Good morning/afternoon/evening to you all. It's nice to be back into the my normal cadence of posting. Although I am a firm believer in getting outside of your routine from time to time, it always provides a new perspective. But enough about that.......

Will you make a difference today? It's a simple question to ask but one that is incredibly complex to answer. There's one line of thinking that believes everything we do has a cause and effect relationship thus naturally creating that "difference". But there's another line of thinking that believes that 90% of what we do everyday could be absorbed by the universe and not make a difference. Kind of like when you go on holiday from work, the job is still there when you get back.

But making a true difference, how often does that happen. With parenting, it's almost continuous. But outside of that, it's not as prevalent.

So, will you make a difference today?

I'm dying of a cold...the kleenex and sinutab company stocks will rise. There's my difference. Lol

I'm a parent. A good one. So yes. I will make a difference. Outside of that I don't think they have to be grand gestures. If you make an effort to do small kindnesses every day, to make one person's life a little bit brighter or easier, then you make a difference.
My only grand gesture is my job. I believe I'm making a big difference there. But I'm not there today... :D

To answer the question, yes, I will make a difference.

This question, at least in my mind, then had a secondary response; will that difference be positive or negative, either for yourself, others or the world/universe in general? Doing good for others or having a positive impact is subjective and itself a debatable topic, but I feel we likely know when an action was "good" or "bad", especially if we have had access to the outcome.

Walking the streets of New York City, I was far more apt to hand out food and talk to those that were homeless as opposed to giving cash. One of my pet peeves is being taken advantage of. A character flaw, yes, but one I cannot shake. It's easier to hand out cash, but at least I know food would be eaten as opposed to cash used for other unknown purposes, good or bad.

Sometimes we are able to see the outcomes of our difference making choices, other times the best of intentions can be changed based on the perspectives or feelings of others. As I choose to make a difference, I aspire that those differences be positive as I seek to build and not destroy, setup those I interact with for success and not failure. Make an intentional difference today, and if it cannot be for others, then let it be one for yourself.

Except the parenting, no, not today.

But I did smile at a lot of people while doing the groceries this morning, and had a little chat with a surprised guest very, very early this morning. I even caught the stage whisper in which she asked my eldest "You sure your mom doesn't mind?" and her answer "nah, mom is cool, what do you want to eat?" In fact said stage whisper woke me up completely. So I rose from the couch on which I had fallen asleep (a bit fed up because once again I had seen only the start of a film I wanted to see) and joined them in the kitchen. Munching samiches at three in the morning (counts as having breakfast) we had a nice chat about how the world could and should be saved. I even poured them water and made them drink it.

*pats self on shoulder* See, I am a good mom, and my parenting skills are enormous.
