2/3rds of America Hates Trump

Of course they won't put him over 1237, but they will make it very difficult for anyone to stop him from getting there.

Not at the rate Trump has been losing delegates to his opponents, add Romney into the mix and he won't make it. Hell, he may not make it without Romney, I think he's just insurance to make sure.

If Trump wins Michigan, Mississippi, Florida, and Ohio and doesn't win the nomination I will never say another word here about politics.

Fuck partisan conservatives. I trust my own judgment. Florida and Ohio are winner-take-all states.

You will get the Wall St. Candidate and you will like it.

LOL silly fuckin' voters...thinking they get a choice in shit. :D

This is M'uricuh ok? 1st rule of M'uricuh is fuck the voters.....they don't want you voting anyhow.

It's been clear for a long time the GOP establishment, as a collective political force, is dumber than a box of rocks, but if Trump wins the four states I've keyed on and doesn't get the nomination, the Grand Old Party is not just stupid, it's suicidal.

They are already dead...they know it and now have nothing to lose.

They broker that convention and auction the nomination off to the biggest tool between Cruz and Rubio (I'm betting they hand it to Rubio) the establishment wins and retains power and the working class voter insurrection fails.

Just like (D) with Sanders....as much as I wish he could be POTUS if he doesn't get the 70% popular vote to over ride the supers we're getting Clinton, because Goldman Sachs..... and we will like it :D

The people are pissed but not pissed enough to tear down the establishment.

CLOSE!! But this is a fuck or walk situation so close doesn't count.

They may be stupid enough to think they can get away with giving the nomination to someone who didn't get the most votes or delegates without paying a huge price in November, but I think it's more likely they don't really care about shit like that. It's all about not losing control. If they had thought ahead, like the Democratic establishment, they would have a superdelegate system and Rubio would have four or five hundred in his pocket already, maybe more, like Hillary. No need to even pretend democracy is going on. It's not even necessary. :)

That's interesting. Are you saying, then, the majority of senators, representatives and governors are ghosts?

Are you really implying Trump somehow represents "the working class," compared to Cruz, Rubio and Kasich, all of whom come from blue-collar families? If the GOP convention is brokered, it will be because the establishment is sure Trump would lose in the general election, while any of the others would probably win.

When Sanders loses, it will be because no declared Socialist has ever come close to even contending for the presidency. Debs won 6% of the vote many years ago, and that has been their best showing to date. Although I have no use for Silly Hilly, and think she belongs in jail, I must admit she has been piling up big majorities in most of the primary elections. As I have been saying, caucuses are almost made to order for the supporters of Bernie, but he loses in most primary elections, which are a better measure of voter appeal.

It is all about control...that's it and if Trump doesn't get enough votes to take it from them, then the rebellion against the establishment has failed. Better luck next time, let the grab assing continue!

Yes...if they were smart.

No I'm implying Trump is the one the working class is voting for because they know the other establishment Republicans are all owned by the same scum who owns Clintons, Obamas and Bushes and they are sick and fucking tired of that shit.

Day 1 in office all campaign rhetoric goes out the door and they sign whatever their contributors bribe through congress and the people be damned, send their job to China!

If the GOP convention is brokered, it will be because the establishment is sure Trump would lose in the general election, while any of the others would probably win.

Bullshit. Reality is it's because the establishment doesn't own and can't control him...and that scares the fucking shit out of them.

They would rather have Hillary in office than Trump because she's the status quo and enough of them retain control vs Trump she's the obvious favorite.

When Sanders loses, it will be because no declared Socialist has ever come close to even contending for the presidency.

That's because the silent/boomer generation can't come to grips with or be honest with the fact that they love socialism because STALIN WILL GET YOU!!!!

Well guess what, times are a' changin' and as the older generations die off you will see more and more socialist. GenX is taking over and the millennials are mostly all adults now and we just aren't buying a lot of the silent/boomer generations bullshit. From the war on drugs to shitty insane price gouging HC for the sake of not being socialist...sorry we just aren't buying that brand of stupidity any longer, and it will die with those generations.

Well yea she's winning largely republican states.....of course they are voting for her, SOCIALISM EVIL!! Because reasons.....except when Republicans benefit, then it's capitalism damn it!!

LOL

Sanders is bringing the pain in blue states though, so we will see after we get through the left coast and New England. He won't be the last....if anything I bet this is just the beginning.

Tomorrow should be another big day for Trump. The GOP is holding primaries in Michigan and Mississippi and I expect Trump to win both fairly easily. There's also a primary in Idaho, and you would think he would win there also, but I'm less sure about that. There's also a caucus in Hawaii, but I'll be surprised if Trump wins there.

Michigan is a good environment for Trump. I expect Cruz will win Idaho; I think he's the only contender who has visited it, and I'm not sure Trump's half-assed commitment to conservatism will play well in what may be America's most far-right state.

Before a few days ago I would have thought Trump would win Mississippi with little trouble, but the results from Louisiana this past weekend give me pause, because something seemed to happen after last Thursday's debate, with Trump and Rubio slipping (compared to the early voting) and Cruz gaining at their expense. Also, Trump's eventual performance in Kentucky was quite a bit weaker than his polling would have indicated.

So I wonder if he's showing a few signs of weakness at last -- keeping in mind that we're almost halfway through the states now, and he's still under the 50 percent delegate mark. Theories:

1. The cumulative attacks are taking a toll.

2. Now that it's obvious Trump is very close to wrapping things up with a few more key wins, some of his less committed voters are pulling back while they still can.

3. His "moderate" remarks in the last debate, especially on immigration, have upset some of his hard core.

4. People don't want to vote for an old man who likes talking about his cock.

Of course, now that I've written this down, he will probably roll. But it's something to watch. Maybe the fever is finally breaking.

I think it's between Trump and Cruz in Idaho, and I think you're right about Cruz being the only one to set foot there, so it would make sense if he wins that one. I still think Trump will win Mississippi, as well as Michigan.

We'll know tomorrow morning.

Whats bizarre is: When Trump wins the media discount the win as inadequate, when Rubio comes in 2nd or 3rd its a victory.

Trump would like to have Rubio and Kasich leave the race so he would go one on one against Cruz. If they don't, he won't go to the convention with a majority of the delegates, and anything could happen. The other former and present candidates might gang up on him and give their delegates to somebody else, either one of their number or another person such as Mitt Romney. Trump is sufficiently disliked that something like that would probably happen. This would benefit the party as a whole, I believe, because The Donald has less chance of beating Hillary than any of the other candidates.

Are you sure?

He's only 84 delegates up on Cruz.

It's not bizarre in the sense the media universally don't want Trump to win anything, and pretty much universally hope Rubio can beat him in the long run. They'd rather see a President Rubio than a President Trump, so are trying to keep his hopes alive.

I see the media as being anti-anyone who can beat Hillary.

Sorry. Right now they are giving Trump a pass hoping that he will win because he is the easiest "Republican" to destroy.

Do not ever forget that this is the same Candy Crowley press that got the first black President elected and is licking its chops to also write the story of the first woman President.

Giving Trump a pass? When FOX News and MSNBC, the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, are all obviously trashing Trump at every turn, I think you're wrong. He's gotten no pass. He's being hit from all sides, constantly. He's being called a racist, a demagogue, a fool, a bigot, and long, long list of other derogatory appellations that would take far too long to list for me to trouble myself with them.

But, most americans get their news from other sources. And those sources are saying even worse things about Cruz and Rubio...

;)

It funny really. The US has whole 1 more party to vote than DPR Korea or PR China or... What's the point?
But it is true that there is no difference if there is 1,2 or 15 parties to vote for.
Democracy is a myth.

No, they aren't. Trump is getting at least ten times as much bad press as anybody else in the race. Probably more like a hundred times more. And it's virtually universal. It's everywhere. The left hates him. The right can't stand him. Cruz and especially Rubio are given kid glove treatment by comparison.

There is a dearth of what you claim on sites like politico and real clear politics.

Sorry. They mostly talk about how he cannot be beaten until he goes up against Hillary...

Bullshit. There's plenty of negative stuff on those sites. But few people ever visit those sites compared to other media. Next time you see Rubio compared to Hitler somewhere, or even Cruz, let me know.

And on another note, NRO is doing everything it can to beat Trump, but on other conservative sites, he gets a lot of defenders and supporters...

So, it seems that what you are talking about is the establishment versus the people.

;) ;)
