I want to do waffles with chili next time. Saw it on a morning show once.
They took cornbread & made it in a waffle maker then served chili
over the top with some extras like cheese & diced onions.

I've done that several times Starry. It's pretty good!

I like to mix up cake batter and pour it in - much less time and energy than heating up the oven, and you can top it with just about anything.
