Today is the 16th anniversary of my dad passing. I tried to just stay busy and not think about it, but I failed. I thought about him all day. I miss him so much. I was only 19 when he died.

Hi friends. Happy hump day.

Yesterday my mini van broke down. Still not sure what's wrong with it, I haven't heard back from the repair shop yet. Thankfully my mother in law has a pickup truck I could borrow. So I went from a Town & Country to a big F250. It's amazing the difference in driving the two. Instead of everyone cutting me off when I'm in the van, people actually get out of my way in the truck. It's wonderful. But I still miss my van. What kind of car does everyone drive? Or are you by mass transit? What car do you with you had? I'd like a super fast, loud, classic muscle car. That'd be fun.

Unfortunately, I can relate. I have a little sporty two-door that is currently acting as a snow shield for the driveway, since the starter went out on it. Have to wait til next paycheck to get it towed to the mechanics. Car troubles are the worst.

That sucks big time totally feel for you I love cars but they are just a money pit and headache
My dreams and wants are always reigned in by my lake of funds so even though I dream of trucks and muscle cars I end up driving economy cars right now a grand prix and that will be driven into the ground unless something unforseen happens financial wise

Would luv to be driving the F250 especially a new one mmmm... sweet
Or if we are talking fantasy level toy a F650

I agree, car troubles suck! Hope you can get your's fixed and not go broke.

I heard from the mechanic, it's my power steering. Thankfully the repairs don't cost more than the van is worth! It makes sense that it's the power steering. My guess is I've had a small crack for some time, water got in the line, froze, and burst the line yesterday morning. For a while if I drove through a big puddle my steering would cut out for a few seconds. I'm guessing that's when water splashed up enough to contaminate the line? Who knows. Not me. I'll have my van back soon. Yippie!

Cars are a necessary evil. lol My mom had a Grand Prix for years. That car was a tank! I wouldn't mind having a car that lasted as long. I'm currently driving my van until it dies. It's 10 years old and only worth $2-4 thousand. So once the repairs get too expensive, it's buh-bye minivan! lol But I'll just replace it with some other used minivan.

The F250 I'm driving right now isn't new. I'm guessing it's close to 10 years old. They keep it as a work truck. My mom in law has a wood burning stove so she needs the truck to pick up wood sometimes. And we all use it when ever someone needs to move stuff around or goes camping. It's handy to have around.
