In 1970 almost all the ranches in the the Blitzen valley were purchased and added to the M.N.W.F. Because there were several hold outs 32 of 53 grazing permits were revoked. The irrigation systems were takeover by the BLM.

In the 1980 BLM started buying all the adjacent land in Silivies plains. Several ranches held out. The BLM then diverted water, doubled the size of the lake, flooding several ranches. After buying this now useless property they let the water recede again.

The Hammond's, are one of the last holdouts of significant size. Effectively, they own enough land to survive despite revoked grazing permits and questionable water tactics.






So what facts are wrong?
- That for decades the BLM has been trying to obtain the Hammond's land?
- The Hammond's were charged with Arson?
- That they were sentenced and served the time?
- That years later the federal government appealed, demanding they be sentenced to a 5 year minimum under the Anti-Terrorist Act?
- That to date this has been a 100% peaceful protest and they have the legal right to be armed?
(Not only has it been peaceful, given the location there is 0% chance of violence short of the government storming their position. Simply, all the government has to do is wait these idiots out. People calling for a armed response are morons)

So please... Show me what facts above are incorrect?

My observations:

- Poaching being used as an excuse for arson when you own over 6000 acres to hunt on is questionable at best.
- Idiots using words like terrorist and armed insurrection when they do not even know the demands or history is pathetic at best.
- The Bundy's are using a valid reason to protest for their own personal agenda. They are publicity hounds and morons.
- I have yet to see any idiot in this thread present facts short of FB Meme's.
- The call for a armed response is retarded.
- The comparison to Ferguson/ Brown is retarded.
