sort of a nipple hunt?

we're off by fast train from Paris to Lyon
enjoyed fabulous food in Paris [only breakfast in hotel]

Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends!

excerpt from
Thanks
W. S. Merwin, 1927

Listen
with the night falling we are saying thank you
we are stopping on the bridges to bow from the railings
we are running out of the glass rooms
with our mouths full of food to look at the sky
and say thank you
we are standing by the water thanking it
smiling by the windows looking out
in our directions...

I'm not familiar, at all, with Merwin's works...but you've encouraged me to "look up" other writings.

The French, Bulgarian, and Hungarian crew of our ship offered a turkey dinner last night, for all the Americans missing Thanksgiving. There was a pumpkin tart, but I still look forward to pumpkin pie on my return.

Your always a festival for the eyes. ;)

And I do appreciate every comment! Thanks so much to those who are sticking with me. I promise to catch up on replies once I'm home.

It's 4 a.m. Monday in Tournon, France, and our wine tastings will begin at 9:30 with chocolate and red wine pairings. This area grows Syrah, and I'm hoping the chocolate will be dark.

Here's a morning stretch... Happy Purple Monday!

A hidden hint of nipple...you're such an invigorating tease.

Yes, I'm having trouble sleeping...
But I'm devouring books like there's no tomorrow.
Not to mention the wine... HA

here, it's the fabric that's stretching...

Once again you tease. Looking forward to your return. :rose:

Funny seeing you like that is causing the fabric to stretch in my shorts all of a sudden ...

Took the nip out to see the sights in Tournon...
there was a beautiful pedestrian bridge --
you can't see much of it here
but lights reflecting on the Rhone behind me

An international tease!
I wonder, though, what are the French laws regarding such a public display. ;)
