I'm pretty good a keeping the shitty and annoying at bay. My life is actually quite good

tragic events bring out the best and the worst in people. it's often revealing, uplifting and depressing in surprisingly equal measure. the best thing is it shines a light on what might have stayed hidden.

You really see what/who people are in the face of tragedy/stress/intensity/hard times. It can really change, or solidify your view on someone.
