You're right. BTB commenters practically explode at the mention of reconciliation in a non-BTB story.

And there's at least one AUTHOR who writes and posts alternate endings for non-BTB stories, and usually gives them BTB outcomes. I don't know if the original authors give him permission or not. His screen name is something like Finish the Damn Story. That might even be it.

But the First Amendment is a wonderful thing. It allows people like that to voice their opinion without anyone being compelled to listen.

Ultimately, "No bitches were actually burned in the writing of this story".

Maybe a little reflection on your signature line would help.

What doesn't help is the authors who consistently write in LW not because the topic interests them that much, but to bait and inflame the trolls so that's adding fuel to the fire.

I have two in LW one was a deliberate middle finger a 'burn the bastard story' and it was pretty vicious, not only does the wife make the cheating husband watch her fuck another guy while tied to a chair, but she puts a shock collar on him and every time he looks away she shocks him to force him to watch.

In the end she is kneeling on his lap while the guy fucks her then jerks the guys cock off in hubby's face.

Now hope you're sitting....it has a red H I got a lot of hate, but somehow appealed to some factions there.

Eh. I did a well written sociopath who targeted women and ended up about as evil as an individual can be. If your theory held, it should have been major attention bait, but it barely averages above 4.5, and not many comments.

Mind you readers don't look to my stuff for those kinds of characters. It's a deliberate outlier. But I don't think sociopaths are all that compelling.

In the opposite direction I have two stories here featuring women with a pathological hatred of certain types of men(I know, a stretch for me) and hacks them up in bloody spectacular fashion. I'm surprised they are both over 4.7

Then again they are both in EH so right audience for that type of violence I guess.,

I'm confused. You call out authors who bait the LW trolls, then provide two examples of stories you posted to bait the trolls.

I'm also wondering how you know the motivation of LW authors. How do you determine who writes in LW because it interests them and who writes in LW to bait and inflame trolls?

I did say one was a sort of 'revenge' story as in it was a 360 of BTB, but that was three years ago to see what the reaction would be. I haven't done that since, it was a 'wonder what if' thing.

The second was meant as a parody/satire. It was so over the top I still can't believe they thought it was meant to be serious. A few people in the comments got it, but mosty....hoo-boy did they lay into me.

As for knowing some do it on purpose? Read the boards. Geronimo Appleby for example openly admits he tries to out do himself flaming them every time.

And ask yourself why anyone would continue to right repeatedly in a category where you get hammered no matter what 'angle' you're writing. Again I'm not talking about someone one just trying it out, I mean the regulars there.

And going back to an earlier point, the authors who still try to write the old style LW stories that featured couples who had some affection and weren't just about hate and humiliation are finding their stories tossed into EC because the trolls were getting upset someone tried to put a decent story in their landfill.

Chapter 3 of my new series is almost ready to submit. Its 6250 words as of now. Most of its a boxing match tween a young and older cons. First prize in the king of the hill contest is the wife of the older con, herself a con at the female facility. She and the winner get one night together in a trailer with a fifth of whisky. But the sex is in chapter 4.

I worked out the end, in chapter 5. A bleeding heart female judge frees a fuggin crazy murderer, and my man is paroled from prison to assassinate the nutjob and the nice judge.

Couldn't be any more stuffed than it is with posts trying to out SJP as Freddie. A quick search showed over 200 posts that are far less interesting because they simply repeat the same pointless point. We get it.

Maybe more authors should post insights into their writing. I find it interesting when they do.
