My new favorite passage:

They were brief quarrels, short lived because it was impossible to keep a quarrel going with Rhett, who remained coolly indifferent to her hot words and waited his chance to pink her in an unguarded spot. She quarreled; Rhett did not. He only stated his unequivocal opinion of herself, her actions, her house and her new friends. And some of his opinions were of such a nature that she could no longer ignore them and treat them as jokes.

For instance when she decided to change the name of “Kennedy’s General Store” to something more edifying, she asked him to think of a title that would include the word “emporium.” Rhett suggested “Caveat Emptorium,” assuring her that it would be a title most in keeping with the type of goods sold in the store. She thought it had an imposing sound and even went so far as to have the sign painted, when Ashley Wilkes, embarrassed, translated the real meaning. And Rhett had roared at her rage."

Nothing about "surface of magnets" or "filled with liquid Nitrogen" makes me less excited.

I recognized her right away, too, Tara from True Blood.

They did some seriously funky colorization of the tiger fur too.

Richard Armitage as Dolarhyde is amazing.

We're also catching up on Banshee and it's my new favorite. I love the acting choices of the guy playing Hood. Watching yesterday as he's about to beat someone else up (of course someone gets beaten up) and he just singsongs as a threat "But for now 'I've got your aaaarm'"

Most tough guys would have gritted that out...but he's just..****...and a really good actor and he makes some very deliberate choices with his facial expressions...and I'm so hooked.

Job is one of my favorite people ever.

I also really like the fight choreography because it's just so much more realistic as far as brawling goes, and I actually never know who is going to win 'cause everyone's going to lose something.
 
Job is bloody brilliant. I need to get my claws on Season 3, it's shown on a channel I don't get with my tv subscription. Fuckers.



Yeah when she first came on Hannibal I couldn't place her but it was her voice in the end and it dawned on me in the tiger scene she was Tara.

Bring it over in person and I'll get a huge cheese board in and we'll gorge on Stilton and watch it together. We'll have pavlova and gravy for pudding.
