I have a question for the women on Lit. I have a female friend who claims that just recently she began experiencing spontaneous orgasms. For example, she might be at the sink washing dishes with no sexual thoughts whatsoever and out of nowhere she gushes and experiences orgasm.

Has his ever happened to any of you? If so, will you share your experience. I'm intrigued because I've never met a woman this has happened to before.

I cannot say that it has. Sounds like a blessing and a curse.

I would see my ob/gyn about it. If this is a new thing, there could be something wrong.

Good point. She's enjoying it immensely but it's strange that it's happening suddenly and without provocation.

I was kind of enjoying hemorrhaging a few years ago, it's sort of a nice calm floating feeling, but bleeding out isn't a good thing.

If she is over 40, it could be a hot flash of some kind. They aren't unpleasant for all women and they don't always fit the symptoms they list on web md. Still a good idea to see a doctor.

That's quite possible, I'll mention it to her, thanks!

But does she orgasm during sex?

Yes, quite strongly. And thanks for the intelligent response. It's a shame there's so many trolls on this forum who think they're witty when we all know they're pathetic little creatures.

I know. I try to be fair and balanced.

I appreciate that. :)

Persistent genital arousal disorder (PGAD), originally called persistent sexual arousal syndrome (PSAS), Weiss Disease, and also known as restless genital syndrome (ReGS or RGS).

There is not enough known about persistent genital arousal disorder to definitively pinpoint a cause. Medical professionals think it is caused by an irregularity in sensory nerves, and note that the disorder has a tendency to strike post-menopausal women, or those who have undergone hormonal treatment.

Is she a bike rider?

I had a friend once. Then I started talking about their personal issues on the internet. Some people just don't get how helpful I am.

I'm guessing that you/she are lying and that you/she are both gross perverts.

And I normally like perverts.

"Question for the ladies" thread starters are never gross, pervy, or dishonest. They're usually British though.
