Well, I didn't say I was new to the Internet or that I've never seen online drama play out before. So I guess whether my suspicions have any value depends on whether I'm also a perceptive person or not.

Certainly I don't think perfidy is the only possible explanation for otherwise contradictory behaviour. For example, take your claiming to be "disgusted" by the attention being lavished on Reci -- who apparently is kind of an Internet version of that evil sphere thing in The Fifth Element that gets stronger when you shoot at it -- and your being insistent on regaling people with your undying hatred of She Who Is Not Your Target (the sort of element from whom "this place" must be "protected") in ways that would seem awfully likely to reinforce the impression of the "rabid dogs" that they have an appreciative audience for their act. In some people I would see that and suspect that there was maybe some insincerity in the former proposition, but in your case I think from what I've seen of you that you're just the kind of person who leads from the heart, in matters of hate as much as anything else, and screw the contradictions.

Maybe that's perceptive, or maybe not. I guess I'll find out.

Or, I could have perfectly good questions of people I respect but whose decisions I don't understand. And I think I'm optimistic enough to believe that the newbs who laugh and play with her just don't understand her actual words might understand why a good amount of the people here feel the way they do and might look deeper into the story. If Eyer is the only one speaking for those of us who are still upset then it's a failure.
