The race from Charlotte today honors the troops, active and former. Honors the brave men and women who served and made sacrifices to keep us all safe.

Seeing a fucking toyoto pace car with the flag and colors of the United States leading the start of the race sickens me to no end. The horrific atrocities the Japanese inflicted on our prisoners of war so so terrible that it's a spit in the face of their memories.

I agree 100% with this. I realize that a lot of these foreign car companies have plants in the US. But if you're American, you should drive an American car.

Along these lines, I refuse to shop at Wal-Mart simply because they have exported so many American jobs. I don't care if it's a little bit more expensive. I'll still go to a locally owned grocery and Target for Walmart type stuff.

What I meant was, it's one of those things you shouldn't do unless you don't have to work the next day. A general comment which just happened to coincide with our specific holiday.

Though I could think of numerous examples of people who do not have off today.

I also was teasing but my humor...just sucks, unless I preface statements with "this is said in fun", no one gets me.
