The most anti-gay member of Congress has been freshman Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-KS). In his first 18 months, he has authored an amendment to ban a directive that allows military chaplains to voluntarily solemnize same-sex unions, an amendment to “prohibit the use of funds to be used in contravention of the Defense of Marriage Act,” and a bill to ban the use of military facilities for any same-sex unions.

During his speech to the “March for Marriage” crowd, Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-KS) urged every man in America to “stand up” and wed “your woman.”

“[Married women are] desperately looking for a husband. They’re desperately looking for a father,” said Huelskamp, who has introduced a constitutional amendment in the House that would define marriage as between one man and one woman. “Be a real man of God because this is about you. Marriage is about you and your wife and your children.”

NYPD Deny Wikipedia Editing, Launch Internal Investigation

The two police officers who used NYPD computers to alter the Wikipedia entries on Eric Garner, Sean Bell, and Amadou Diallo will not face any consequences.


Mayor de Blasio told the reporters that "It's a well known city policy that people are not supposed to do personal activities on city computers," and added that the edits were "not authorized," but stressed that what police officers do on their own time, with their own property, is protected by the First Amendment.

Former Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson emerged (or crawled from under a rock) this weekend at a Trivia-night fundraiser for Hunt For Justice, a local pro-police group that tellingly raises money through “gun raffles.”

" ...the Facebook description on the Hunt For Justice page says the org defends and protects law endormcement officers against “very real, evil people who desire to falsely claim and charge law enforcement officers while in the process of perfoming their jobs.”

470 people attending the fundraiser, gave Darren Wilson a standing ovation- each paid $25.00 each to be there.

Was this a fundaiser to fill Darren Wilson's wallet ? They raised nearly $700,000.00 a short while, ago. Did he spend it all on his wedding and honeymoon ? Or, getting the nursery ready for the new baby ?

Michael Brown will not have a wedding, or a honeymoon. He will not have a daughter or a son.

Despite Holders's early prejudicial, and inaccurate statements about the Brown shooting, The Department of Justice went far beyond just "not finding enough evidence" to blame Wilson, the DOJ report finds concrete physical evidence that corroborates Wilson's statement. The DOJ report is even more clear that it was a fully justified shooting than the Grand Jury was.

Anyone still advancing that narrative does a huge disservice to the credibility of anyone with sincere concerns about officer-involved shootings.

Here is one columnist willing to admit he was wrong: 'Hands up, don't shoot' was built on a lie.
