I tried to dye my hair red and it did nothing. I thought that maybe the grey would turn red and it would have highlights. I've tried this 3 times with 3 different dyes and it has NEVER worked, yet I keep trying. It seems that no matter what color I dye my hair, it remains black. It's /weird./ Like the grey is gone, but it's black, not red, or "deep burgundy" which was the color of the dye. It's just black. All three of us are in amazement.

CandiCame buy some henna from Lush. Follow the directions . If that wont give you red I'm not sure what will.

I want fire engine red. This I guess /might/ be kinda brownish? It's just that my hair is so black that the grey is /really/ grey. It's super noticeable. I'll totally try that tho. So far I've done manic panic, that goth bleach/color kit from wal-mart that I can't remember the name of, and this girly shit my gf got me that she uses. It's the one with Beyonce on it.

Do not mix henna and regular hair dye. The results could be unpleasant.
{I remember reading that somewhere, but I have no personal knowledge of it.}
