Kathie Lee annoys the piss right out of me. NBC is the only channel I get on my office tv though or I'd turn the channel. So I'll sit here and throw my nerf ball at the tv every time she says something stupid.

A movie to get lost in.

Aha hahahaha. Lordy, I amuse myself. <Wipes away tear.>

Have you see Pan's Labyrinth? Also a brilliant movie, but perhaps not quite so comforting.

Haha. You amuse me, also.

I have indeed. My sister made me see it in the theaters while I was pregnant with my first munchkin. I really enjoyed it, though I was a bit too hormonal to appreciate it as much at the time. Watching it again later I liked it a lot more.

All this talk of jewelry and rings.

I want sparklies too, damn it.

I just watched Labyrinth again the other day. It's my comfort movie when I'm sick or gloomy.

The last time I was sick, I had horrible chills and couldn't get warm so I filled up the bath with super hot water and set up my laptop so I could watch while I soaked. Best time I've had while wanting to die because of not being able to function or breathe properly.

You must be exhausted!

I can't stand her either.

So, how many nerf balls have you worn out?:D

You never ask me anything. I'm starting to think you don't like me.

:(

I'm not your biggest fan, no. I don't wish death on you either. Mainly I know you exist but not a part of my universe because even when you're being nice it's just a front for your bitchiness.

Me, too. But without the commitment. How does that work??
I'm afraid it doesn't. *sigh*

This is an excellent idea. I took a hot bath yesterday, but wasn't ready to get out when the water started to get cold so I drained it partially and refilled with scalding hot water. Ahhh.

Retail therapy is so not for me. I only enjoy shopping for gifts and books.

It's the girly girl in me. I get super excited by the smell of a new pair of fine leather boots or soft, lacy, or frilly things. Yes, my affection can be bought for short term. ;)

I'm with Riles. I love shopping.

Buying new, pretty things makes me happy.

I also love grocery shopping or buying craft supplies too.

If I ever get around to driving Mom's stuff down from Oregon I'll have to swing by and let about 30 boxes fall off the back of the truck. As I was packing her up I decided she could stock a Michaels and a Joanns.

I'm a die hard tomboy, I guess. Jeans, tshirt, chucks and I'm good.

I'll get dolled up; it's just not my natural or preferred state. :)

ETA: easily substitute Toms for chucks

Cue stickman angst in 3, 2, 1...

I get this. :)

For me, the girly side always balanced the farmer in me. I had to spend a great deal of time doing hard, dirty, physical work that wasn't very 'feminine', so it always felt better knowing there was something pretty underneath or waiting for me after.
