I can tell you that on Padre it is 40 and so foggy, I can't see 30 yards!!

Yeah, and when it comes to freezing roads, I would MUCH rather have non Texans driving than Texans. What the heck does anyone here know in regards to driving on a frozen surface compared to someone from, well, most other states??

Yeah.. I have knee issues so don't have to worry about me driving on the icy roads, I'm not walking out to the truck.. lol. Good thing I work from home

I'm about 45mins from the coast but it's chilly right now, forgot to bring my jacket! How's Austin holding up today?

This morning, not so bad, though a bunch of counties/communities/ISDs to the west and north have already hunkered down. It's not supposed to get bad here for another few hours. Lot's of people will be heading home early this afternoon. Local forecast if for a tenth inch ice accumulation on bridges and overpasses.


Looks like we're in for a little fun, weather wise.

Nah I just go sit in a cube a few hours a day, play sudoku, add up numbers, cause mischief, convince people to buy me coffee, and get blamed for missing trash cans.... That's about it...

It's changed soooo much. We did Mustang Island once. Usually Padre however this year it's Galveston the month of July.
