i feel like my time came, and they passed me over for the next young thing.

You would think that it would take an "IT professional" less than a month to go from three minutes to two, to one and finally simultaneous log-ons and posts. Still clueless that his quest for perfection at that is dispositive in and of itself.

ETA: That is about the 7th time he has tried the whole "oops, he was logged in as the alt" scheme. Problem is, no one is noticing his "accidents" since he is on ignore. If, for the sake of discussion, it was me, I would have edited all 7 "mistakes" by now.

Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life.... You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so a simple phrase turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love. ~Neil Gaiman, The Sandman, Vol. 9: The Kindly Ones

I like Neil Gaiman and he's complete right.

I love him too. The Sandman is so dark but so beautiful. A good friend sent me the entire set along with some of his other works a while back, and I just love them.

He wrote one of my favourite Doctor Who episodes "The Doctor's Wife".

Yeah. I hope you don't.

Rimmys off in la la land. An enigma of sorts so he doesn't count.

lol

Do I buy the graphic novel storyline of the sandman, about demons, hell, fate, and the 'watchmaker'?

.....No. I think it's a beautiful story that came from a tortured mind, nothing more.

miserable breathing, ugh...

watching murder in orient express with david suchet while using a vaportherm (?)

Tooth hurts maybe.

on the plus side I fitted a sweater jacket. Not sure I will keep it but if I do those gold buttons have to go. I have a bunch of huge turtle necks in front of me that want to be made into something else. They were gifts so I am not attached, we shall see what happens. I just want to cut things ;)
