totally awesome. my daughter has been teaching herself ASL for a couple of years now, and I have gone to some Deaf functions with her. way fun, and they never seem to mind that I really don't sign much.

fun fact: one night after too many greyhounds, I was weaving my way down the sidewalk toward my vehicle, when a couple asked me if I was okay. they turned out to be Deaf, and i had my first signed conversation right then and there.

nevermind that i couldn't remember the name of the town that i'd lived in for the past ten years.....
