Interesting. I had a similar impression, though perhaps not as definite. I would have edited out some of those cues just in order to avoid giving anyone that impression, if that were not the intent. Although, in another post he says he's married, that he flirts, but would never act on it.

The very beginning reads, "When I first started paying more than passing attention to Miss Kraft when she entered some messages about the legal system, some U.S. Supreme Court cases, and some comments regarding the passing of an elderly member of the U.S. Senate." But it looks from his posting history like he was paying "more than passing attention to Miss Kraft" from about day one.

(This part, though: "don’t mistake internet chat and message board sparring for reality" shows someone clearly out of touch. — This is the only reality and we all know it. That's why we're here.)

Though the ending does wax a bit, his post is well-written, clear, and easy to read, and contains some good advice. But if it's an invitation to a "Monica-type internship," as you suggest, then hopefully Karen's into electricity:

After completing law school, I wouldn't wish law school on my worst enemy. Most people go into law school very naive and without very much knowledge at all about what law school entails. Very few students beginning law school have any real understanding or idea of what the daily life of an attorney - especially a larger firm attorney - deals with.

I'd suggest knowing a lot more than I did about it before committing 3 years of your life to the school and before deciding at such a young age when so many possibilities are out there - that this is THE career for you.
