Woman, you are kind beyond all kindness.I wish that Vermeer had done a painting of a pretty woman, with baked treats.
He did good work with portraying bread.
I would dedicate the posted picture to bluebell.
La Fornarina? (The Pretty Bakeress)
One of Jules Verne's illustrators painted a baker girl, but she was not as pretty as bluebell, is.
I laffed.
The image search says it's a Whole Foods bakery case. So, someplace I never get to visit. I am restricted to image-drooling. But I know Wife of Bath is pretty rockin' in the kitchen on all kinds of levels. Something tells me that my baked goods are stuck at the kiddie table forevs.ha ha hahahaha
I am glad that I spoke up-
Otherwise, I would have missed out on that!
(Yummm, pastry of all sorts. French?)
Your "goodies" are luring many to sigh and drool, my dear.![]()
TOO FUNNY.I saw this in Target and it reminded me of somebody's Granny (who shall remain nameless). Poor granny will never know how close she came to fruitcakelalapaloosa.
I might feel they are a bit biscuity, it's true. But I have also done a lot of recipe subs and research of the low carb/low sugar/vegan variety and they are pretty good! There's a lot more options now!bluebell, if you had a taste of my baking, you would choke and sputter, and spit out my baked treats in a shocked state.
My baked treats would probably remind you of dog biscuits!
Before I started my journey to The Overly Virtuos Vegetarian pathway, I sampled a carob brownie with no sugar or flour, no eggs, no butter.
I choked, I sputtered, I spit it out, in shock. (and horrified my Vegan bestie.)
"What was that ?"I cried out.( It was so dry, and so bitter, and I was anticipating a brownie, all sugary, fudgey, and sweet.)
That said, holidays are the perfect time to choose to indulge in all those sugary, buttery, luscious sweets.
I thought so.That is so rad!
I freaking love it.That is so rad!
