Are Animals Getting Smarter?

As people study animals in more depth, we're finding out that animals may be smarter than previously thought. There might be some confirmation bias in some of these studies, since no one really looks for animals that are dumber. But it's still fascinating to see complex animal behavior that suggests their cognitive abilities aren't so different from humans.

So... Um... Run.

Fake aliens, demons, and 'the great deception' ::

http://www.itsaboutthattime.net/art/finaldeception.html

He answers the question, what does the illuminati (mystery schools) have to do with what is happening in the world today. The people in these mystery schools follow the religion of the cosmos. They have a goal to present an external threat to this earth (like they did to the US with Saddam Husein & Osama Bin Laden, a fake external threat that was made to be believed was real), a superior race from another planet.

This will be used to get rid of all nation states and religions to form a one world socialist government. Nasa is one of the main instruments of this deception. Also, the Vatican is behind this and heavily involved. Apollo space program is a reference to the ancient god, Apollo. Apollo space program crest carries symbolism of Apollo the sun (aka osiris)(isis the moon), constellation of orion, in the center, the 3 pyramids in Egypt, and they earth represents the full body of initiates known as horus. Many of Nasa's photos have been proven to be faked or altered, so how can you trust NASA to be honest with any of their discoveries?

John Dewey said that someone told him that the best way to end all wars forever and unite all humanity on this earth in a world government would be if we were attacked by some other species from some other planet. He said this in 1917. It was tested in 1938 with Orsen Wells Radio program to see if people would believe this story. Many people were convinced that the invasion was real. Some people were so convinced that this "War of the Worlds" was real, that they committed suicide. Because of this and other things we can be certain that this idea of an alien invasion really is a false flag agenda to bring about a one world government.

They will say that mars was populated by an ancient race who destroyed their planet in warfare. At some point in history, the belief is that they came to earth and populated it with the survivors. So, when they came here they are believed to have had relations with early man and the human race was the result of that mixed group. This is the story that the illuminati will push.

Cosmic Deception:* The Hoaxed Alien Invasion Scenario

http://www.wakingtimes.com/2014/06/12/current-media-events-hints-fake-alien-invasion/
Current Media Events Hint at a Fake Alien Invasion

Is the world being set up for a fake alien attack? Talk of extraterrestrials, UFOs, and even alien invasion surfaces regularly in mainstream media stories. There are scientific studies, news articles, and late-night talk shows dealing with extraterrestrials (ETs), even while the White House*officially claims*there are no ETs, nor has any contact ever been made.

So why would there be such a steady stream of conversation about alien visitors in current media coverage? Is it due to genuine public interest in alien contact, or could this be a case of*predictive programming,*with extraterrestrials sometimes being discussed or portrayed in a way that induces fear?

Here we have a bizarre situation where a believer in demons masquerading as aliens is openly criticizing those who believe that aliens masquerade as demons. They all believe in the same literal interpretations of the same texts and yet are utterly at odds.

Yup. :D

Without some form of contribution to society, what is the point of being alive?

To contribute to yourself. And if the labor, in this case specifically pumping gas, but we could look at lots of "jobs" that at best should barely qualify as jobs what contribution are you actually making?

Hell in net you are probably consuming more than you contribute. Since neither of us want to (or likely even could find out the exact data on if having let's assume just one, worker who is on 24/7 at 7.25 an hour (or whatever your local minimum is) actually comes out to less than the insurance. But you are also wasting gas coming and going.

Again if you are stuck on the frankly crazy notion that labor is an ends not a means then sure. But then lets like I said pay people to go to the goddamn gym.

Drugs in public water:

http://www.health.harvard.edu/newsletters/Harvard_Health_Letter/2011/June/drugs-in-the-water
Pharmaceutical pollution doesn't seem to be harming humans yet, but disturbing clues from aquatic life suggest now is the time for preventive action.

Although maybe not as tasty as an ice-cold gulp from a mountain spring, the water that flows through most American kitchen faucets is generally clean, clear, and safe. Approximately 170,000 public water systems are monitored for nearly 80 harmful substances. The prohibited nasties include bacteria, viruses, pesticides, petroleum products, strong acids, and some metals.

But water quality experts and environmental advocates are increasingly concerned about another kind of water pollution: chemicals from prescription drugs and over-the-counter medications that get into lakes, rivers, and streams. Water also gets contaminated by perfume, cologne, skin lotions, and sunscreens that wash off people's skin.

At this point, there's really no evidence of pharmaceutical and personal care products in the water harming people, but studies are showing adverse effects on aquatic life.

http://www.watershedcouncil.org/learn/pharmacueticals-in-our-waters/
The two main sources of pharmaceuticals in the environment are excretion and disposal. Most people flush their unused medicines down the toilet or sink. Sewage treatment plants are not designed to treat all the substances contained in medications. Although wastewater treatment plants are currently equipped to remove chemicals, foreign materials, and microorganisms from the water prior to ejecting it into natural waters, such as streams and lakes, active drug compounds from humans are not eliminated from the water in the treatment process. Treatment systems permit up to 93% of highly concentrated active drug compounds to leave the treatment plant. Therefore, most of these chemicals pass through the wastewater treatment facility (or they are processed through septic systems) and accumulate in rivers, lakes, ground water, and aquatic organisms. Even drugs thrown in the trash can eventually leach into the landfill and wind up in our ground water.*

Many studies in the last ten years have detected pharmaceutical compounds in treated wastewater effluent, rivers, lakes, and ground water. According to the USGS, over 80% of waterways tested in the United States show traces of common medications such as acetaminophen, hormones, blood pressure medicine, codeine, and antibiotics. Samples from 139 streams in 30 states were analyzed during 1999 and 2000 for 95 chemicals and 82 of the 95 chemicals were detected at least once. Generally, these chemicals were found at very low concentrations (in most cases, less than 1 part per billion). Mixtures of the chemicals were common; 75 percent of the streams had more than one, 50 percent had 7 or more, and 34 percent had 10 or more.*

Conspiracy theory used to hide conspiracy:
http://www.theprepperjournal.com/2014/05/23/conspiracy-theory-replace-critical-thinking/
Do you believe in Conspiracy Theories? When you read that question I imagine that you had one of two distinct reactions. One reaction could have been positive as in ‘Sure I believe in conspiracies or some of them anyway’. The opposite reaction and judging from a lot of news outlets would be negative or something along the lines of ‘only lunatics believe in conspiracy theories’. For years I have wondered why conspiracies were something that “smart” people simply couldn’t believe at best. At worst, some reacted almost violently to the suggestion that anything secret could have happened. Furthermore, anyone who was dumb enough to believe in conspiracies was mocked, laughed at and generally discounted. An opinion or belief that ran counter to what the enlightened believed, was the height of stupidity.

Where did this come from and when did it become “stupid” to investigate? When did we all decide it was crazy to question the official story when the facts didn’t make sense? In order to find out what the problem with conspiracy theories is, I decided to look up the definition of conspiracy just to set a level playing field.*

http://www.peaceandfreedom.org/home/articles/general/468-conspiracy-behind-conspiracy-theories
Conspiracy behind Conspiracy Theories?

A 'conspiracy' is a bad thing. It can be, depending on who is actually involved, seditious, evil, treasonous, fraudulent and, perhaps least of all, illegal. It implies a well-coordinated plot to manipulate circumstances for the betterment of an elite few while victimizing the innocent. Some conspiracies are small scale. Like the owner of a cockroach infested restaurant bribing a health inspector to look the other way. Some actual conspiracies are much grander.

Surely, some Conspiracy Theories are eventually proven to be actual conspiracies. No one leading a conspiracy wants to be found out. Likewise, no one (me!) wants to claim a conspiracy is false and eventually be proven foolishly incorrect.*

http://www.libertymagazine.org/article/the-hidden-danger-of-conspiracy-theories
A problem with*conspiracy theories*is that they oversimplify world events in order to find a scapegoat. In any reasonably open society, with freedom of the press and access to historical documents, it is not hard to find out the truth, or at least enough of the facts to clear up any false theory. In the world of conspiracy theories, conjecture takes the place of diligence and fear takes the place of reason. Often a particular clique of evil people is given virtual omnipotence, as if when major events, such as world wars, take place, everything happens according to plan.*

"Oh that's just a conspiracy..."

freedom =/= liberty

Fair enough.

I agree.

Historically if you do not contribute to the tribe you are shunned and thrown out to die of exposure.

Supporting and encouraging indolence is not a recipe for success for any civilization.

Historically we had no choice. In a world where it takes the labor of one man to feed one man everybody works. They have to. There is no margin for error, if you're too old or too hurt to keep contributing you die.

In a world where the labor of one man feeds twenty you can indulge them. And the results are ultimately great.

That is still the case. People starve all over the world for lack of resources. Why should we swonder resources now on the indolent? There's no moral case to be made for feeding an idle American over feeding l Somali who has no opportunity.

First, because we can. IT's what humans have done in every scenario where it was a possibility. And yes there is a moral argument for it. I'm American. Not Somali. But if you think that feeding Somalia is a worthy cause, and I 100% agree with you lets mobilize to do that. Lets get them the appropriate infrastructure in place oto care for themselves.

But in the end we'll ultimately be right back here with sufficient stuff that needs doing.

But that's a good thing. You think Shakespeare was particularly worried about where is next meal was coming from? Steve Jobs? Bill Gates? Steven Spielberg. Death by Space Stuff:

http://neo.jpl.nasa.gov/risks/
The following table lists potential future Earth impact events that the JPL Sentry System has detected based on currently available observations. Click on the object designation to go to a page with full details on that object.

Sentry is a highly automated collision monitoring system that continually scans the most current asteroid catalog for possibilities of future impact with Earth over the next 100 years. Whenever a potential impact is detected it will be analyzed and the results immediately published here, except in unusual cases where an*IAU Technical Review*is underway.

http://www.killerasteroids.org/impact.php
That was then, this is now

The Earth has been getting hit by asteroids and comets for its whole life. The planets formed from collisions of smaller objects, and even our water may have come largely from comets. Heavy bombardments may have continued until as recently as 4 billion years ago, making it difficult for life to get a foothold at all (the "Late Heavy Bombardment").

The odds today

There are a lot more small rocks than big ones. So while Earth is constantly being "hit" -- accumulating over 100 tons of matter ever day -- most of this is in the form of dust or tiny sand-grain sized meteors that appear as shooting stars. By comparison, school bus-sized asteroids may hit every thousand years or so, medium sized (say 300 meter) asteroids might be once every 50,000 years, and extinction level events only every billion years. And those estimates are going down.

What if the NEOs or Near Earth Objects will be used to bring the end of our modern civilization and begin the rebuilding of The New World Order?

We know scientists have plans for how to safe guard against NEOs. Some involving Nukes, others involving propulsion to nudge the object away from Earth's path.*

But what if, the plan was to attach these propulsion jets to steer the objects actually towards Earth?

The illuminati made the moon and is controlling us with it  (among other things)
https://reptilianilluminati.wordpress.com/tag/impact-theory/
If you understand the Reptilian Agenda you may understand my theory on the purpose of the moon and the magnetic field surrounding earth. I theorize the moon is not only a base, or home to another species, but also a machine belonging to the Blood Line Elite, which generates the magnetic field around our environment. As organic machinery, our bodies are containers for our souls, or consciousness. As soon as a conscious being, human or not, dies on Earth, he or she is trapped in this “prison planet”, with the magnetic field as a net, keeping us from escaping the Matrix controlled by the Reptilian Elite; we are forced to reincarnate here to be used as a cheap energy source and be their eternal slaves.

Send a robot into space. Grab an asteroid. Bring it back to Earth orbit.

This may sound like a crazy plan, but it was discussed quite seriously last year by a group of scientists and engineers at the California Institute of Technology.*The four-day workshop*was dedicated to investigating the feasibility and requirements of capturing a near-Earth asteroid, bringing it closer to our planet and using it as a base for future manned spaceflight missions.

This is not something the scientists are imagining could be done some day off in the future. This is possible with the technology we have today and could be accomplished within a decade.

No.

Feeding indolent Americans or unfortunate Somalis are both equally poor survival strategies.

You just get more indolent Americans and more unfortunate Somalis if you feed them.

We have already mortgaged our great-grandchildren's future with the idiotic war on poverty for the last 50 years. We only got more people requiring government assistance to minimally survive. Not less.

There is no money. Pretending there is and borrowing to cover the shortfall only makes the eventual pain more catastrophic.

We have spent approximately the equivalent amount on the war on poverty as we have debt. 20 trillionish. All it got us was a larger underclass, that is less stable, with more crime, fewer intact families. Now there is no incentive to stay an intact family for economic reasons. We are subsidizing poor life choices and poor social choices that have a detrimental impact on society.

It cannot go on forever. The last thing we need is people in poverty continuing to have an incentive to have children and grow that underclass. What ever happened to the 70s liberal idea of zero population growth. We have achieved that with our best and brightest. On average, highly educated, bright women have negative population growth.

It cannot continue indefinitely. When austerity is dictated by external forces as it will be, the larger that underclass, the more human suffering there will be.

Funny how our (greater) society didn't want to use logic and reason to combat the recent Ebola virus bloop-up and instead used fear, racism, hyperbole and deliberate untruths to distribute discord and sow corrosive propaganda for political coins. Some people got hurt for reals, actually. Some people are continuing to see the fallout from that bullshit.

Some "contribution." As long as you make a wall and as long as enough of those you despise are on the outside of that wall for you toss stones at, that'll be a sufficient "point of living."

Society is a structure and order and means, yes, but it's not "life." Eating, drinking, shitting, pissing, sleeping, waking, moving, breathing, fucking, possibly reproducing, doing all that for as many days as possible to delay the swing-batta-swing of the reaper's scythe, that's life. It's the point of actual life that life will remind you of when you are perilously close to not having life. People will tear that house of cards you call society down and revert to caveman days once you threaten their life. You don't believe me, you go ask Kaci Hickox how many death threats she got towards her person because she wanted society to treat her as a citizen with the due rights society created instead of a supposed and not factual walking petri dish of Thanos juice.
