a million - well, a lot of ways it might have got in so why she supposes it was the earthingies i don't know. but reading down (and i was eating, mona!) 57 maggots in that old lady's ear? ffs! *gag*

lol.. oopsie

:) sorry

Been dealing with a case at work where this woman has a massive hoarding issue. Maggots have come through the light fitting into the downstairs flat.

We had neighbors like that in our previous apartment. Except that it was roaches and actual flies that would pour out of their apartment. Turns out they had several rotting pets and I think their grandma too.

It's frightening how some people live, and you can't always put it down to mental health issues.

I......can't.................even............

*Brain bleach*

yeah, I refuses to go to hoarders. it's a fire hazard, the spores in the air cause lung disease, it's an accident waiting to happen. if the state gave a shit about people doing my job, hoarders would need to agree to the local authorities doing a clear out before they sent people like me in.

The really weird thing is, that couple and others I have seen look fairly normal and well-dressed. You would never suspect them of being like that.

we must save phil! the maggots might harm him. best we fill his undercrackers with scorpions. as pest control.

The ones I'm talking about are owner occupiers. The Fire Service have declared a massive hazard and turned the gas off. Social services want us to rehouse but that doesn't solve the hoarding issue. They'll start over again. They do have mental health issues in this case but SS don't seem to have any support package in place. Horrible case.

Here's a tip, if you're going to write a piece saying your party aren't misogynistic, racist fuckwads, don't use stuff like "ethnic comedians and women-posing-as-comedians" in your first paragraph.

same here. but care packages should only be given in homes where it's safe to send people. I've arrived at a new client just in time to witness an argument with paramedics, who told them in no uncertain terms that they would no longer collect from that address and place themselves at risk. if it's too dangerous for them, why is it o for us?

mental health services in this country are a disgrace.

The joys of social housing. I have worse stories than that!
*fingers in me ears singing lalalalalalalalalalalalala*

has she gone yet?

Tip #2:

If you even fantasize yourself to be objective all all...

...try not being a born slave to generality for the first time in your life.

Oh there's no fucking exchange of information, even within organisations. We've done escorted viewings alone with bloody rapists because of DATA PROTECTION. Pisses me off no end.

I used to drive for a removal company that had the contracts for most of the councils in West and South London. There is nothing in peoples' homes that can shock me anymore.

Go away, Eeyore, no-one cares.

Mental health issues....probably definitely. I can't help but look at hoarders as just exceptionally fucking lazy, to the point where they're harming themselves, though.

I think the worst one was a flat covered in shit. I mean everywhere. There was even a plate of it in the microwave. The cleaning company we hire refused to go in.
