Proof that AJ's lying through his teeth - again

And Miles, Query, Vette's, etc. etc. ancestors may have viewed your ancestors the same way?

My God you're not even trying anymore. You're just flat out falling on your face.

teehee

;) ;)

Yes, that's true.

Throb's surely did.

Your just trying to pile on.

You do not even care what is being said.

I missed something.

When did Butters call you a racist?

Look at the post above.

Throb called me another slur...

She quoted it and was giggling with him.

I called her out over that and that's when she played the "sub-human" card to let me know that I was no better than him to justify her giggling.

But nothing in anything I said all those years ago was racist, it was all pretty much political and observations about human behavior and the inability to abrogate it when they have accepted that which unacceptable.

Haitians are the citizens of a nation, NOT a race.

They live the way they do as a result of their own decisions and actions. Which is sad in that they were the first free nation formed in the western hemisphere as a result of a slave revolt.

I didn't read it as criticism based on purported views of race, that is blacks don't deserve to be called people.

I read it as criticism based on stating a people did not merit sympathy because they did not deserve to be considered people. It could have been Iceland instead of Haiti and the criticism would have been the same.

*cough*

I spent 33 years and four months in active military service and during that period I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism. I helped make Mexico and especially Tampico safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of Wall Street. I helped purify Nicaragua for the International Banking House of Brown Brothers in 1902-1912. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for the American sugar interests in 1916. I helped make Honduras right for the American fruit companies in 1903. In China in 1927 I helped see to it that Standard Oil went on its way unmolested. Looking back on it, I might have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he could do was to operate his racket in three districts. I operated on three continents.

So, your defense is that you weren't saying they were subhuman because of their race, you were saying they were subhuman because they didn't share your political outlook?

So, are you saying it's the country you live in that makes you "less than human", and NOT your race?

That would explain Vetty's position on Mexicans.
:nods:

I think he spoke of less than human conditions affecting Haitians. Many would agree, if they bothered to actually hear what he said before and after the words "less than human" being used like a noose around his neck.

Millions of articles and studies have documented truly sub-human conditions affecting Haitians for generations:

A few to mention:

"According to the United Nations, restavecs affect 1 in 10 children in Haiti. Restavecs reduce children to sub-human status. "

"people – the majority of which are Haitian descent – continue to live here in subhuman conditions with little to no access to clean water, electricity, or nutritious foods."

Butters, anyone who knows you doesn't need to read the entire thread and external linkage.

Some people can be taken at their word.

on the plus side, it's the first time i've been called human fiflth

:)

That isn't what he said either.

Virtually all of the Caribbean islands are predominately black and virtually all the descendants of slaves. Yet Haiti alone is considered the cesspool of the Caribbean and it has held that dubious honor for decades upon decades now, even among their fellow islanders. And they DO live (exist) in sub-human conditions. This was so even before the recent devastating earthquake.

nope

it was aimed straight at the people, the same people he was condemning for being in the plight they were as victims of an earthquake and tsunami, because if they had been not ''less than human'' they would have had a better government, better housing/infrastructure etc....

So you believe people living in subhuman conditions deserve no charity?

Try to be more reasonable. One cannot live in sub-human conditions for generations without being described as such.

Take a deep breath and read some of the links I've provided for you. I think you'll understand better what he was alluding to.

Sure you can.

You give AJ and Query easy cover. Whenever someone takes one of them to task, they inevitably pull out the Rob card. Just like AJ did with Dolf.

Why make it so easy for them to deflect?

So, as cjh said, why make it easier for them?

It's academic, gentlemen. All I have to do is show up in a given thread where there's controversy and one of them is guaranteed to try and make this thread about me. Even if I *don't* show up, they'll try and deflect a thread into a referendum on me, even when past results haven't been exactly encouraging for them.

You might recall earlier this year that Byron challenged me to go two weeks without taking a shot at my detractors. Eager to rub Byron's nose in it...ummm, I mean show Byron the futility of such an exercise...I agreed. I held off for two solid weeks, I let them have their fun. Did anything change? Well, one thing became readily apparent: when Miles in particular saw that I wasn't responding to his garbage, he doubled down.

Lesson learned: These guys thrive in a consequence-free environment. They try and beat you down. And sadly for them, I don't put up with that.

Whether I post or not, whether I make personal attacks or not....it simply doesn't matter. They're offended by my very existence on this board. :)

Where did I insinuate that they didn't deserve charity?

You are taking great license with my statement of facts to bolster your attack with a play on words.

Don't twist my words.
