If you've written literature about incest (between adults) have you found people outside of the Literotica community, that personally know you, to be judgmental regarding this topic?

I have an I/T story undergoing some editing. I can't say I have experienced judgment for it, only because I will never attribute it to my IRL identity. I came to write it as a result of reading some stories here, but I do know my current GF, who has received other stories, would probably reevaluate if she knew I wrote it.

I write incest stories (among others) because they get good reactions here. I rarely read incest stories; I'm not a fetishist. (I usually read LW, EC and GS.) Friends and family don't know I write erotica and certainly don't know about the incest stories. I think several relatives would be quite disturbed to find players based on themselves. Are they judgmental? I don't want to find out.

Thank you...

VERY much for your kind replies, they helped me make my decision. I will create a second account, and post using an alias.

I write using my legal name, and I'm afraid people may harshly judge the incest story, I've written.

Good decision. Incest and Non consent are two kinks that people outside of the erotica world would look at you like you're truly sick.

The biggest compliments I received on my SWB series was from several people who said they never read incest, but the series was recommended because it dealt with so much more than taboo sex. Many said by the end they forgot it was even an incest story to some degree.

But I still wouldn't sit and bring it up at dinner parties....

But I have threatened my wife with doing so.....:D

I have written i/t stories, and may do it again in the future - it is a well read category. I have read and enjoyed such stories, although not so often lately.

I would recommend a LIT id that doesn't reflect your real name for all your stories. My wife is the only person in RL that knows that I write for LIT. And she doesn't want to know about or read my stories. That's just fine with me.
