weighted clamps contrast nicely with flower petals

Oh my!!!! This is one sexy picture. The innocence of the flowers and the naughtiness of the clamps. Wow!!!! Just wow!!!!

I have read novels in which the Scots idiom was nearly indecipherable, and some of it I couldn't find translations of online. In future, I''ll turn to you.

oh yes, Them!!!

It was above all an interesting recognition of interdependence. It was frightening when it happened because I've never before been in a boat which capsized. In the past, sailed in beamier [broader, wider] boats. The water wasn't That cold, and we had life jackets on, and the shore wasn't That far away. But on our own, we could not swim the boat to shallower water to right it. Fortunately, a woman motored out in a dinghy, and with considerable effort and multiple tries, towed us out of the current to shallower water where a passing kayaker helped us right it. High Drama!!!

I think it's the best of the roof garden pics. Thanks!

I do try... Thank you, daus.

I'm laughing to hear them described as little wild clamps. For me, they are the biggest heaviest of clamps -- and here they only carry one of the three possible weights. They do pull at me -- wild definitely applies.

I enjoy playing with contrasts and balance. I'm glad you like the photo.

Somehow I missed the sailing incident too. Do I need to give you sailing lessons too? Glad to hear everything worked out ok for you.

I do like a hotel roof garden!....good morning up there...

I'm better under my own power in a kayak! but it's always good to have a reminder of the kindness of strangers.

I never imagined getting hard over hardware, but your fabulous softwares turned the trick. sexy as heck.

this reminds me of a photo posted maybe in April of the weighted clamps shot through my legs from behind.... if I find it, maybe I'll offer some breadcrumbs so you can compare and contrast [September brings out the scholar in me, even all these years later]

found it, posted 4-10:

Did you have an anchor attached to the chain to celebrate your love of the water?
:D

A few Scots terms, not used in every day speech, but generally used to amuse:

bawheed - ballhead, empty headed, stupid (oh, you ya bawheed!)
"baffies"- slippers
. "Bahooky"- Bum
bairn - baby (jist a wee bairn!) or small child.
baltic - really cold (It's baltic!)
bampot - an idiot, unhinged person (He is a bampot)
barry - fantastic (That's pure barry)
bastart - bastard, also, rarely, a peculiar term of endearment(awright Ted ya wee bastart)
bawbag - scrotum, pejorative (That guy's a bawbag)
bawhair- A recognized unit of measurement.
burd - Girlfriend/ girls in general ' '(huv ye seen the state ay they burds!) ' '
bevvy - drink ("Ye havin a bevvy the nite?")
bizzo - business (from an episode of TV series Minder)
Bigyin - Originated as Billy Connolly's nickname. Meaning: Big One, used as a term of endearment towards older relatives or friends.

Enjoying the contrasts in this photo, your elegant attire versus your playfulness.

and I hope you are noticing the background, too
the front porch, with the street in front, and the beach and bay beyond
because there will be some more flaunting happening here

Teasing and pleasing!!!
