I need to order some more tea
my preferences aren't stocked in this little town

amusing myself: this was taken back when I removed my rings, thinking they were too identifiable

Mmmmmm. You can always order you tea online. Or have someone bring you some when they visit. Hell I would volunteer to make that delivery.:D

Like anyone would even notice your rings in that pic.:D

A Public Service Announcement ~ with blessings from the wuwu Mara

in case any of you out there suffer from chronic pain or nerve pain associated with joint, tendon, ligament, or muscular injuries

Many of you know I've struggled with my Achilles tendon since May, so I thought I'd tell the story once here in case anyone might benefit hearing of some interesting treatments I had Saturday.

Neural prolotherapy, injection of dextrose solution
Prolozone, injection of super-oxygenated sterile water [there's a special machine that makes it]

I've had acupuncture needles in my feet before, but of course, these were much larger injection needles. At least the injections were shallow. There were probably 15-20 injections on the bottoms and arches of both feet plus right Achilles. It was challenging, but I breathed my way through it. The Mayo Clinic-trained physiatrist had seen some instant results, but that was not my experience. In fact, the right ankle and Achilles hurt substantially more and was significantly swollen. But the way the therapy had been described left me determined to hope that the inflammatory process stimulated was going to in fact lead to healing. And wow... did it...

Un.Fucking.Believable how much better I'm feeling. So if you are hurting, check out these therapies.

Hoping you're feeling better as the day progresses.

I have arthritis in my right foot and ankle, result of a stress fracture misdiagnosis - okay, the 1980 x-ray technician and ER doctor BOTH missed it. They swell now and then, mostly when I exercise too much - walking for more than an hour at a time or using a gym treadmill for more than 45 minutes - or have the wrong sneakers on.

I know I'll be seeing therapists for it. Right now, the best way for me to feel better is, other than sex , is "hydrotherapy," resting it in warm water, that's pool, hot tub, and even in the Atlantic Ocean at Virginia Beach this summer.

Thank you for sharing.

thank you for appreciating, Charmer

My my my! Simply gorgeous.

thanks, darlin'

it's been consistent steady improvement. I'm going back for a second treatment before my walking trip, end of September. Happy to talk about this privately, Rj, but will say here that it was a medical doctor who administered what may sound pretty out there and wuwu. She trained at the Mayo Clinic. Physiatry is a newer medical specialty, but quite an interesting approach. This was all about nerve regeneration. It's supposed to work on joints, backs, necks, hands, feet. I am thoroughly impressed.

Have you tried White Peony tea?

I have and I do like it. What I'm wanting thought is herbal red rooibus with something citrus in the blend.

I would love to apply my hot tongue after the ice.

As far as teas I don't care for the herbals as they are not really teas. I prefer a stronger tea like Earl Grey, but when I am in the mood for light, I drink the White Peony. I like my tea like I like my coffee, which is strong, so I use two tea bags per cup or twice the amount if it is loose.
