I will take the blame for not checking when she was nominated. For as long as she's been around, I took it for a given. So, mea culpa on that.
So, what should we do about it?
I propose that, if she finishes in the top 5, she be set aside with an asterisk, and be inducted to the Hall when, and if, she ever gets to 10,000 posts. The question is, do we induct the Top 5, not including her? I am inclined to say yes, but what do you think?
If someone has a better idea (and no, Eyer, whining like a little titty sucking baby does not constitute "having an idea"), please propose it.

Since THE RULES say no one should be NOMINATED unless they have the required number of posts.
Not nobody should win ... rather nobody should be NOMINATED
The only course of action is a disqualification until the required number of posts is reached to qualify another future poll.

I'd like to argue with that, but I can't. You are right. I made the rules, I need to abide by them, and not try to split the difference.
With apologies to Phelia, to Noor and Fata, who nominated her, and to anyone who voted for her, Phelia is disqualified.

If someone as popular and well known as Phelia doesn't qualify, maybe the 10,000 post rule is a mistake.
I didn't expect to get 100 people to vote in the poll, I thought it might be 20-30. So, I set a minimum in order to prevent any fooling around with creating alts and having them get put in, and things like that. But, with this much participation, any manipulation is going to be minimized.
So, I'm considering junking the 10k rule after this week. If I do, then Noor can nominate Phelia again. Or not. Maybe they'll have a big cat fight before then.

I remember when just pet ruled late night with breakwall, bob bitchin, and heavy stick.
And the women's click. Their parts were generally interchangeable with one or two being more affable then the next until the snark kicked in.
Juicy fruit was great fun. Dillinger had the most tilted, smart mind around. He always amazed me. He was a part of the killer muffin, problem child, risya Skye, cymbidia lavender, mishka crowd. Lancecastor is the only survivor of that time. And there's lucky knight and however he misspelled it.
The newer posters would never know them even though they set the tone of the board as being intelligent with deep humor.
There was a whole kiwi (Debbie is still around now and then) and Aussie contingent that were also great fun.
All long gone but definitely are on my hall of fame.
