For years I sparred with busybody on this board. His views have always been deliberately vile, but like Rob, he was always polite to me. But then he said something, and like I just told Rob, my response was visceral, only a thousand times stronger. I won't excuse him anymore. I did that for too long. Clearly, AJ's attitude toward Rob is the same, and for similar reasons.

I've been here way too long when shit like this starts to bother me.

Busybody is like a few other people around here. There was a time when we disagreed, but his views were interesting. There was a definite change at some point and vile is a kind word. Soon after that, it was clear there was no point in wasting anymore time with him.

Putting someone on ignore is not an offensive weapon. It's just an efficient use of time and resources.

You provided no proof, you kept on quoting him and therefore you have not valued in the least bit our long past of interaction. I will miss it, but at the same time, I am too far gone to have patience with the antics of the anti-conservative "moderates," for lack of better terminology. It seems to be what some of you people want, a government of one party and a board of one view.

Maybe someone can tell him that him ignoring people doesn't make this a site of only one view, other than to him, assuming he ignores everyone with whom he has a beef.

Proof? Really? How could I prove that I started at the bottom and was working up. That's beyond silly. Worse yet, by not accepting my word, you are in effect calling me a liar. You've always claimed to know the minds of others, so why am I surprised that you've done it again.

Fine then. Your colors fly clear. You can ignore your way to a board with one view, but it seems odd that you give as an excuse for doing so your tiredness of others doing the same.
