FAWC 5: Line, Please!

Is that what Friday the 13th was about? I'm not much of a movie watcher.

Just about.

Two camp counselors at a summer camp were having sex and allowed a kid (Jason) to drown. The camp is closed.

Years latter some new owners try to get it open again.

His mom kills the new counselors.

Then in part two he ( the kid) comes back to life and kills some more people having sex at the lake.

Lather, rinse, repeat to ridiculous levels.

Ah. So I don't need to bother watching it?

It is good for what it is. Make popcorn, snuggle up on a couch with the lights down low, and enjoy it for the fact it is not a CGI nightmare like more and more horror movies are now days.

It's going to take some doing reading all of these. Hopefully they're all one or two pages long!

I think mine were. It's been so long since I sent them in I can't really remember what I wrote. It's been that kind of week.:(

Just did an 11 day work week. I'm doing good to remember my name and I'm only managing that because it's simple.

COFFEE! (screamed like a samurai war cry)

:D

In sympathy, I wrote you a sexy story.

"After the week he'd had, he needed her more than ever. She knew it too, and was waiting for him the minute he walked in the door, at just the right level, gloriously uncovered, her satin folds waiting for him. She was an elegant queen, just the right size, wide enough to accommodate, small enough to inspire intimacy, with the kind of softness that made a man just want to sink into her, over and over.

No doubt about it--she was a hell of a bed."

That's awesome!

Awesome indeed! So inviting... oh wait, I'm still in bed...

I think mine were. It's been so long since I sent them in ...

Did everyone catch that MST outed himself here? :)

That could be a fun writing challenge. Write a passage that seems sexual in nature, and see if readers can guess what it is.

Well, this forces FAWC story discussion into the start of the Nude Day contest--assuming the Web site is going to get around to announcing the Nude Day contest (the schedule it has up on the home page says it's for 2013 on the home page mention--and for 2012 on the actual schedule page).

I'm looking forward to reading some of these stories for the contest. When are they going to be up? I'm not a participant, and so is it ok to post a quick thought here about a story I read, or is that discouraged for now?

Since not today, they should be up tomorrow, unless the posting schedule has slipped very recently. When they post, they should be at the top of the "New" list. They will certainly be at the top of the "Chain Story" hub new list. Post away here or on the story about any FAWC story you read.

They should post either later today or tomorrow in Chain Stories.

Comments by people not participating in the contest is actually the prize! Feel free to leave comments on the stories themselves or, if you want to discuss a specific story with input from other people, you may want to start a separate thread than this one just because with 25 entries, discussion may end up being more than one thread can contain without getting really confusing.

All the stories now have a posting date of June 16th. At least now we know when they're going up.

I'm going to be scarce this weekend, being Father's Day tomorrow and all.

I'm guessing the reason for the late posting is a combination of the late time I submitted them on Wednesday and the fact that FAWC will account for a full third of the normal daily allotment of stories for the day. I imagine Laurel had to move things around in the posting schedule to accommodate us.

I love that we mobbed the posting schedule with our stampede of stories. Having to wait until Monday when I should be working to read them? Not so much.

It's good to know a posting date, though, rather than have to go from day to day expecting that to be the day (although we've done a bit of that too).

Just hope this delay doesn't take a bite each out of this exercise and the Nude Day contest (which seems to have taken forever to drag in).
